Joomla is the best there is. I can safely state that, was going to write about how great it is but I really don't know where to start, it is just that awsome. LOL.

I'm probably going to share some tips about it at some point though. Try it, you will be happy. It has bugs but it is nothing compared to other stuff that is flying around the net, some commercial CMS's even suck more than Joomla.

I love Joomla too

works like a charm, takes a bit of learning, getting around the admin panel, but once you figure that out, your homefree

I myself have used a number of Content Management Systems CMS including phpnuke,postnuke,siteframe and prefer postnuke. I have heard many good things about Typo3 as well but never got around to playing with it.

Yeah, done in PHP - its a fork from Mambo back in the day when those folks were going through "drama".

you sure can download it

and you can put in on your own server. you can also download alot of free templates as well as plugins (modules, etc). and really make it interactive.

deffinatly joomla... I'm using it on 5 or 6 portal sites I have, and love it. Cut my admin times down from a hour or 2 per site to about 10 mins.

I think the best thing to do first is to find a new template you want to use. Then start adding components, bots, etc...

If anyone's interested. There is a Dreamweaver extension for Joomla that allows you to make your own templates.
