The next generation of senior citizen surfers will might be your mom, dad, or yourself depending on your age and that means that there will be millions of more internet users in the coming years.
Keeping this in mind, mainstream related sites geared towards seniors will grow tremendously and so will the traffic with time.

I am curious GTP Dave. When you say "geared towards seniors", are you referring to the content or perhaps associated markets such as Viagra or what have you?

sit back and use your imagination... what will you be surfing for at 65? retired yet or still working? Are your interests community services, senior groups, learning bridge, how to cope with grandchildren, new hobbies, going back to school, gardening, losing a spouse, health, mental health, transport, medications, rehabilitation, etc....?

that's one way to look at it.
Another way would be that as the internet evolves towards not only desktops but also portable "gadgets"... it opens up ever more towards children as well...
Maybe the financial future may be in games after all...

I picked up the domain wellaged.com awhile back. However choosing domains to target old people can be hard, nobody likes being reminded about their age!

There are some startling stats out there. By 2025 a large % of the US population will be over 65. Japan, Germany and China also have aging populations.
