Would you be interested in new mainstream linkdump?

So, title says all ... would you like to have a place where you can dump your mainstream links?

I have few ideas about mainstream sites and one of them is mainstream linkdump (or more of them if first one would show success) ...

How many of you would be interested in something like this?

I dont know if that would work with mainstream, maybe if you made your LD in a niche like a linkdump for phonesites or traveling

But just randomly, i think its a waste of time and SE would see it as a bad neighborhood

Hmm ... to be honest, I didn't think on a classic linkdump ... idea that I have is something between linkdump and directory but didn't make it clear for me yet ... still thinking and planning and trying to get ideas from other webmasters what would be the best to make ...

As stated you could only do it by niche and then you would need a reason for webmasters to put there link there, if you could kick it off by putting it on a 5 year old domains with a pr5 or more it may work, but then why would you want just anyone adding there link. Spend the same amount of time on 5 decent content pages and you can add your link anywhere.

Well, I thought about one site where I could put my links to, like one central page where would all my links be stored and surfers could choose what they want to see depending on niche or subject ... if I do that, the idea crossed my mind, why would I be a jerk and don't let others to post their links there ...

I have a mainstream linklist, categorized and everything but it hasnt' seemed to take off. Not sure why, but plan on working with it more. I have a friend that posts her one pagers on linkdumps and swears it works, and brings her traffic and gets her pages in the ses, but I posted some of mine on these same linkdumps and dont' see the same results she speaks of. So, with that said, I think a ms linkdump would be a 50/50 shot
But never know, it might be worth a try

I hate to be the downer in the thread, but this article back from April might shed some light on the shake-up in Google's ranking and its impact on directories and linkfarms.

I dont think the link farm, like yahoo.com botw.org and the likes got slammed so much as those whos linkage was totally made up of recp links, the Pr does not flow like it used to.

I keep reading posts like these, yet my experience is just the opposit. My linkdumps immidietly got good SE traffic and keep getting it.
