I used to have a nice list of directories + their google PR. Unfortunately, my laptop harddrive died and took some great links with it. I went poking around to see if I could find it again. I didn't find the specific list I was thinking about, but here's a few resource lists for you. I submit to AssociatedContent.com, but only because I used to submit articles there for pay before I got a "real" job. It's easy to use and they post articles immediately if you don't want money for them.
