Any advice for a cooking messageboard?
I just started a cooking message board. 0 posters right now.
Its general cooking. I didnt want to do a niche cooking board/site (i.e., mexican cooking, italian cooking, low fat cooking, etc) because Id rather have it all on 1 message board and not divide it up into 10 different sites. So now the site is new, any advice for how to get it moving? I can afford to pay a little money to advertise it and to hire people to post in the beginning just to get it going. My goal is 1 year from now to have it fairly busy and 2 years from now to have it be busy enough to charge advertisers. but right now I just have a cooking domain name (an easy one to remember) and a forum on it, with nothing else. Any advice, and I mean ANY advice is appreciated on this. thanks ps - do you think cooking is a good profitable niche? |
