have control over their destiny - we do. Consider this - you control
exactly what you create (or don't) on any given day. There is no one
standing over your shoulder demanding you to make it so, when your
instincts tell you differently. Most people can't say that - they
simply wander through their lives content to follow orders. The
ability to create is what sets us apart from others. This fact was
driven home during my recovery from an injury that sidelined me for
several weeks. During that time, I couldn't do those things that I
took for granted, that even annoyed me. All of a sudden, I began to
itch to create a new blog, SEO page, gallery - heck ANYTHING, but I
was unable to do it from bed. I even required help getting the
newsletters finished. Being away from it really whetted my appetite
to get up and running again - and maybe that is what you need, if you
are sitting there feeling sore at having to build "yet another page."
Of course, I don't advocate running out and injuring yourself, but
maybe a change of pace can help you stoke the passion of creating
that drew you to it in the first place. Maybe change from building
blogs, to building freesites, or try a new niche that you've never
experimented with before. Maybe it is time to visit the mainstream
forum on Netpond and diversify your portfolio. Or maybe you just need
to call the travel agent and take in some of the "good life" for a
week or two to realize how great a life this really is. In any event,
I hope you take the time to love what you do.
