It's tempting, even though I know too many linktrades all at once looks suspicious to the SE's.

Before I do it, I'd like to know...

All of you who have done this... has it had the positive effect you had hoped for (ie. more traffic, more conversions, etc) ?

I think it did have a positive effect on traffic to my site, and improved my PageRank slightly, but then my hosting expired and I've just left my site parked elsewhere, so obviously these have now negated any positive effect the links might have had.

I think it really depends on whether or not your site can handle that amount of run of site links. Since all your links have the same anchor text now you need to have enough other links to offset that. If you only have 100 backlinks and you add thousands of links with the anchor text your after. . . you may see yourself dropped for that keyword.

I ran this about three weeks ago.. . I just got dropped for my keyword yesterday. . .not sure why exactly but getting nervous as I examine my backlinks. I'd hold on this one unless you have a site with 10k backlinks already. . . a change of 6%-!0% won't kill you.

on my sites that were PR0, and that I had put ya'lls links on, they turned into a PR2 , I've had some good reports about PR going up, then some reports about keywords dropping, so if you do the deal, then there are good, and bad sides of it
