don't forget that this project is going as if you don'thave anything to invest. Otherwise newbie should invest in a domain name and hosting first before buying posts. I don't think its very cool idea to buy posts to freehosted blog. Rather buy a domain first.

By the way my alternative way of starting this project (0$ investment for start) would be not to go with freeehosted blog, but spare few days reading netpond ( anyway total newbie won't be able to participate here without knowing anything, he should at least know the principals of adult webmastering) and posting here aking questions etc. That way he can get some points and buy a domain from headboy here, then buy some hosting. These few dollars will pay off in long term more then going freehosted blog route (Imagine - 1 lost sale to TB top banner would cost you more then buying domain name and hosting...)

Ok, I will give myself a last chance with adult online business following this project. I used to earn $800-$1000 / month just by submitting freesites to persiankitty 3 times a month; things changed, online business evolved at light speed, the webmasters comunity -and competition- grows a lot and I was not capable of evolving on the same way, then now I'm not succeeding in making enough money to confront my immediate future. I have two children, I am divorcing of my wife and my day job is not enough to cover the expenses that will come in the next months.
I will take the lunch time at work and two hours at home and I will work five days a week on this project, my first goal is not as ambitous as to make $100 a day, instead of that I want to reach the 1 signup a day in average ($30-$35/day) that will put me near of those $1000/mo of the old gold days.
Thank you Dutch Harry to take the time to write this tutorial or case of study -whatever you want to name it- that let us know and learn what are you doing right to have some success at this business.

Well, I would definately start with TB blogs without worrying about the top sponsor banner because I only look at the benefits from TB... It is a great way to start out because you can make any mistakes you want and learn from them of course!

After that, new people will make sales after a few weeks and I know this thread is not about spending money but I still think it is worth looking at Thomas service...

Fresh, how much is it for a domain with private registration? The cheapest I found was around $16.

For instance namecheap, its 8.88$ but with promo code its like 8 bucks. + free whois privacy

Yes its very good service, thats why I said it is better not to waste that on freehosted blog ( Ofcourse thats just my oppinion )

About loosing those sales, well you can loose quite a few, so in a year it can be lost 100$ or more... And domain is only 8$ a year ( Of course thats just my oppinion as well.. )

fresh, the thing that places such as Thumblogger will give that your own name will not is instant authority. You will be spider more quickly on a TB blog, and that can mean $$ more immediately. Plus when buying a name, you could inadvertently buy a name that has been banned in the past by search engines (happened to me once). So there are trade-offs for either solution.
