Logo Design (Need Honest Opinions)
Hi All!, Well I designed a new logo for a new project im working on and would like to know what you guys think of the design.. Please be honest, I really want everyones honest opinion. Please, dont be too mean.. haha..

old school design, for me doesnt look nice at all. nowadays designers are using a little be more of vector-retro style and grunge.

I think it looks nice, or at least could on the right site.
However, I am seeing some aliasing artifacts on the X and also on the 1. I noticed them first on the X and they are on that entire layer, but you only notice them on the really long diagonals. Second, the noise inside of the X looks weird. Actually it makes the girl look weird. Maybe make it monochromatic noise or try a grain filter or something instead? Lastly, I didn't immediately get that this was your domain name too, it 1tripleX.com The .com part blended in a lot and it took me a second to see it. If you are trying to brand this domain, I would make the .com bit a little more prominent. The 1 is pretty abstracted too, and I initially took it for an abstract bit of art, rather than the number 1. Nice overall look though. With the right webpage. Its a bold bubbly upbeat looking logo, and needs to be appropriate for the site you put it on. I like it. |

From a marketing point it is difficult to know your marketing message - a logo should give a clear unique msg about the company/site. Are you selling bubbles or cartoons or pastel bathings suits or soft nice porn? The message is to mixed.
also it is challenging to know what your company/site name is you are marketing, until I read another post here I did not see the 1 or the .com __________________

wow - I guess it takes the eyes of a fellow professional to find the little things that make it good huh? I never would have noticed those things. Hell, I didn't know what half of them meant!

Not a bad design at all, 1triplex, but the '1' and the '.com' are far too easy to miss. Maybe you could give the '1' a little more definition in the design--bring it out from behind? change the color?--and even leave out the '.com'? Just a suggestion.
