I can see how it would read like that...you're right...I didn't mean dreamweaver and cuteftp are the same...I meant cuteftp ws_ftp core ftp voyager ftp and all the others, basically, the ones with ftp in their name...are the same...but I didn't say that...thanks for pointing that out....

So in one respect, I would say at point of use it is free, but at the other side of the coin, you have to factor in the time in what the developers could be earning at that specific point!

Sorry for sounding a little bit sarcastic, though, I was just having a bit of a bad moment! There was someone who posted a little above, who got to me, when they were saying that 'Dreamweaver was basically a free FTP...' and I thought "Oh, shit, here we go again!"

I don't know. Whichever I looked at it, developer offer me a free product to use, in this case Filezilla. I use it whenever I need to, update it when it prompt me to and it doesn't cost me a cent, it's free.
