SAying hi!
Hey everyone!!! Wow finally got the ok to post. I have to say that I am a little shy at this point. I signed up for a program, was previewing the content and noticed that there was a "dialer" attached to the campaign. Now I can't say that I got any virus's from looking at sponsor content, but I got hit hard this weekend with spyware and virus's. So it kind of puts me back about doing adult (not that I know anything of mainstream, or any better i should say) affiliate marketing.. Its hard to want to do something when you get hit by what you thought was your own people. tell me if I am wrong here.
Either way, I still want to do affiliate marketing/sales. Does anyone else do mainstream marketing also?  |

Oh WOW
Please dont take this post as being a snaut or anything! I was reading the post from the girl that wanted a step by step tutorial and got to thinking that I may have sounded like that in my very first post also. That is not the case at all. just a little leary. It highly could have been my own fault also..!
Ok so i think I hav jumped the gun A LOT! I purchased a URL got LLC'd I have a WYSIWUG program (not very knowledgeable at it, but a fast learner) I cant even figure how to get my URL to my host site not sure about a nitch have been looking at "sponsors?" or programs if u may I have been learking around here and reading post's and turorials i have looked at campiangs, dont understand how to get them over to my page The good part is, at the slave job, I do get to listen to my Ipod all day and have been listening to SEO, affiliate marketing casts. So I have a good understanding of how it works. I just need to get the dirt under my fingers and get this baby tuned up! I understand that this is not a get rich opp at all. I am looking for the self employment of it, the freedom, course the money all the good and bad that comes with doing this, just not for someone else, as I am forced to right now.Oh yea and the making friends and helping others really is attractive! Better then working in a shop all day by myself. Can anyone suggest a direction or a train of thought at this point? I do have to say the tutorials are awesome! Once I get up to that speed I want to follow along with the "1000 a month" its just at this time I am not at that speed. So for know Piece! Rod |

First off, welcome to Netpond
 no reason to be shy around hereAbout the Viruses, if the infection is bad I'd just reinstall your O/S(Windows I assume) since you never know what will be left behind after an infection(if one even exists), you are planning on running a business on the PC afterall, if you can't or don't know to do that grab yourself a free trial version of Kaspersky AntVirus, although I don't use an AntiVirus you said you might be infected so try it and make sure that you're not. After that ditch Internet Explorer and download and install Opera as a replacement, then you'll wan't a firewall(Sygate Personal Firewall) That's just the basics but unfortunately there is alot more to securing your computer  hit me up on ICQ if you need any help or just ask here |

Thanks APC I got a copy of norton from a friend! Its all gone now. I was waiting for a while to get ok'd to post here, now it has relifted my spirits

Hi! I'm new here as well and was waiting for the OK to post too. Anyways I'd second the post about using Avast!. Nice and free, haven't had any problems with it and as a bonus seems to be working fairly well with Vista.
