1,000 hits per day and no sign ups

Ok people, so heres the deal.

I own a paysite, well 13 really. Its all kinds of porn from matures down to teens and everything in between. Its been up for about, eh.. like a month and a half. We had I think like 16,000 visitors the first month and out of all of those visitors, [SIXTEEN THOUSAND] only 1 person signed up. It obviously takes time and I know that. Right now, we made a couple videos and put em on you tube, done some link exchanges (we need to do more) and also have a google adwords account. The adwords gets us a good amount of traffic but it's not the traffic were looking for. Any tips or strategies would be appreciated! We need to start converting these visitors into members!

Why would a surfer sign up? You have links to AFF to take them away as well as a huge banner on every page where the surfer leaves your site and is told they can make millions in porn.

Adwords should deliver exactly the traffic you're looking for, that's it's reason for being. If it doesn't it's because you're not using your campaigns effectively. For example are you sending all your adwords to the index page from generic terms and losing it to leaks or are you tightly niching the campaigns and sending niche specific traffic to each relevant niche tour?

there is nothing there to draw the surfers attention. You need some tour design that uses real girls pics like a real sponsor would do. as you have it now it just looks like some text banners.

also on your lexxxtacy.com warning page you have a link to netpond, in a way i'm sure that they'll be glad of the link back but i'll also expect them not to be happy about it bing in a surfers area

Lexxx, there are a lot of people here who earn a good income from adult, but I dont know of any that did it with a turnkey site. I would honestly give up with that site and write the $70 off as experience. Even if you could get it profitable then you might find you dont actually own it at all and could possibly have it taken away from you.

It way hard to make money in Adult comaired to years ago but still worth staying in the biz through these tough times. I'm trying out a summer sale on my content so far so good. Lauching some blogs for fun mostly just finished MilfMe still needs some touch ups any advise is apriciated? I'm a newbie at adult marketing & blogging but have been a content producer for photos & videos for over 10 years.
Hope we all do better in the fall time after US ections & this recession is over! For now I give everyone 40% off all my content & a insane bulk content deal so you all have more money for beer.

Not sure about small pay sites are using affordable content that you buy licensed ?
I just started blogging for fun love doing it but not sure how long it will take to get SEO traffic from my keywording. The directory traffic is tiny & same with the link dumping. Social bookmarking I heard helps but not sure what else you can do. Hope it works out for you in the end. If you buy content I will cut you a Crazy Dave deal to help you save some cash.
