how hard is it to be the next hun ?

i have a domain sitting around doing nothing and was wondering if i should start a TGP.

my current thoughts are that skim TGPs just recycle traffic to the point that its hard to make any good money. So i will go with a No Skim TGP. (just like the hun)

also no skim TGPs are better for search engins because they can follow all outgoing links because they are not masked by your skiming code. So your submitted Galleries would be indexd by Google

i would want it to be kind of "ugly", neat, SIMPLE, and organised. and make the TGP as fast loading and with as little server load as possible. Text ONLY (just like the hun)

From what i know text recips are better for search engins than images. so i will have a text recip.

i need a good script so i was thinking of AutoGallery SQL (thumbzilla uses this)
and for submitters i was thinking of only using partner accounts. because i have a limited ammount of time and it would be easier for me to "Quality Control".

i am going to Search Engin Optimise my TGP for some good search terms.
i was using Overture Keyword Selector Tool, and Google to pick out some good keywords and im sure that in a month or two i can get OVER 100,000 Search Engin visitors a month from Google alone. and thats just one term. thats not including book markers and other search terms.

i have only a limited amount of time to work on this, but i just wanted to know what you guys think. and if i should persue it ? i dont plan on making any money for the first few months.

i would really like the input of other TGP webmasters, there experiences and stats (visitors a month, bandwith, income generated, ect).

Well, that's a long post, but .. and I don't want to discourage you .. it's impossible to be the next thehun.

It's not going to happen, and while no skim sounds great (I run a noskim TGP) you can't grow really big numbers without trading and skimming.

Well, it has to be easy. With all those text galleries there must be almost no server load at all. If I have a couple free hours I will try it.

damn dude, you must be a search engine top secret ninja. why stop there? don't just work a month, give yourself three, and you can get more hits than google gets itsself. People will be going to your site to find the link to google results.

ok lets get real, you guys should be ashamed of yourselves.. the hun took years to develope, and got lucky, he also promoted some stuff that was really grey area, but because of the country he lives in he can/could.. I have been told the real story many times, by many different people.. but my lips are sealed.. dont shoot a newbies dreams down, but honestly if it was so easy to topple the hun, i would of done it by now.. i just dont have the time..

If you're able to get 100k pure se traffic in a month, why on earth would you waste it on a tgp???

Hell, give it a shot. What do you have to loose, some time? Even if it doesn't pan out you still gain some valuable knowledge and maybe learn a couple of lessons (not in a bad way).

You only learn by doing something and not thinking about it.

you are going to need a skim tgp to send traffic to your no skim tgp. or you will be buying a lot of traffic. Dont expect tons of traffic from just recips and SE traffic

100k search engine visitors a month is doable (I thought a day at first, haha) but not easy and certainly not quickly. Read about the google sandbox, for one thing, a new domain gets discriminated.

I read somewhere, will try and dig up the link, that Google looks at new domains and determines how long they have been registered for. Some say if you register a new domain for 2 or more years that Google will look at this domain as a serious one and here to stay and might not throw it in the sandbox.

sorry, it was just a newbie idea, just wanted to know what you guys think.

i just did some google/overture search result research till i dropped and chatted with a friend about my results on a few overlooked terms and he said that it is very possible to get 100k a month traffic if i seo the pages right.
-the only way i would accept money for listings was to use it to buy traffic, from say... netpond members like RicardoB as an example.
-if 50 to 100 Galleries were garanteed to be accepted a day with the price being what it costs me to buy 1 or 2k of traffic. im pretty sure people would be lined up.
-do the math:
using RicardoB as an example:
thats 5.00 per gallery= 2k feeder traffic.
if 100 galleries were to be accepted a day thats 200,000 visitors a day.
would you want to submit your galleries then ?
