Canon 350D, CompactFlash ERROR

Hello all,

I've a emergency and huge problem with my camera, I using CANON 350D XTi...
I bought it 3 months ago in Los Angeles.... ok it just work great...

Here in my country ( Venezuela ) , I bought a CompactFlash memory of 512MB KODAK...and works great with the camera... just perfect...


1 Month ago I give format to the 512MB Card using
HP Photosmart 2575 AIO Printer.... Then... the camera says "err cf" (error compactflash).

Again... I bought a 256MB Kodak Memory, and it says the same error!!, but the card is just brandnewwww never used!

Anyone got this problem using the same brand? Should I change the brand? well i think changing the brand will not resolve anything, because the same thing happen to my DV camera formatting the SD CARD with HP photosmart..

I would buy some proper CF, I had bad experiences with Kodak stuff before

but its only my personal experiences

thanks boobie. well I using Kodak Cards because they overload the market here with stores. the next week i will try with Lexmark or Extreme model.

I use only Apacer or Kingston CF cards and always formatting them To Fat32 and after that they are working just so fine

When my CF cards got corrupted there is some freeware software that let's you recover the files as long as you dont erase them and take more photos.

Yes the recovery software is really working! I can proove it These kind of softwares helped me several times
