Does eveyone know what a EXIF viewer is?

Well if you don't I use this free one Opanda DigitalFilm - Professional photography reversal film imitation software (Fujifilm Velvia, Kodak T-Max 100)

with that u can see all the information about a picture like the camera model and other shutter speed etc

It's quite nice tool if you didn't know about these. Especially when you are learning.

Exif tags can be very useful, I actually downloaded that software yesterday!

Anyone who ever crops images for use on websites, but you just cant seem to get a decent file size, it's always worth checking to see if the jpegs have exif information and stripping this out. It can make nice file size reductions sometimes

Most paint packages allow this...

Yeah, I always disable it when cropping/resizing pics.

Well, in Paint Shop Pro Photo XI when you go to save a jpeg file, there is the 'options' button (where you normally set the quality of the jpeg etc) and there is a checkbox saying 'save exif information' - if the image has exif information already, then this will be checked... so uncheck it!

hi people

If you use photoshop and save the picture with "save for web"

it won't save the exif too
