What was the lighting? It looks like its on, or near, the camera. Color balance is rather warm.
It looks somewhat underexposed, and rather low contrast, to me. But, it also looks like the camera does well in low lighting, and of course the color and contrast can be fixed in post... really its best to shoot a little flat so that the highlights don't get lost. The samples look better than the stills from my HV20 in low light. Gotta love HD. I bet that frame grabs from its progressive video look almost as good. |

The camera flash is not enough...
You must set a bright light beyond the subject to create less shadow behind even if you do not have proper lighting you would find this works fantastic. The positioning of the model is great... I love the sultry look! __________________

This chick's really hot... photos could be better, though.
So the photo quality sucks, but what's important here? Are you making fine art? Are you trying to sell a "fantasy?" Will you submit these photos to Ms. Universe contest? Would it be worth post processing all 65 photos in the set? Or suppose her boyfriend, who is said to have photographed her, had waited until he could afford better equipment LOL. Lots can happen in even a week or two. She might get religion and refuse to take her clothes off again!
One good way to look at such photos is to ask yourself based on seeing them on a computer monitor, if this chick emailed you and said she wanted to come over, would you give her your address? This looks to be one of the better sets in your catalog. Too bad the quality is not better. If these were shot in Russia, and the economy is as bad as they say it is, they ought to go the extra yard and post process their pics and charge a few more rubles or whatever they use for money over there these days! __________________

Shadows are a real problem, they detract from your photo. Simply add another light that cancels the shadows. But what was that cartoon fish that lost his glasses? Ah' most of you are probably too young to remember. But you have him perfect in that second photo, above her head. That aside, I like her hair, neet, just a little wild sugesting a mood. Your working ok with her posing, maybe a little too sculpted. But she lacks expression, you have it in the first photo, but then nothing, almost expressionless. When your working with her posing, get her to laugh a little, or turn some music on, somethings to get her emotions flowing, smile more, look sideways at the camera, lick her lips, anything, but just get her to seduce the camera.
