why??... this directory holds our gallery photos & the galleries for this site.

I do not mind anyone looking in this directory & looking or borrowing any of this info for affiliate sales or directing people to our web pages.
Why would it need an index... the index page is above the gallery directory.

A bit of fill-flash would have done wonders for this image. Most dslr's can do this and it helps to pop the subject out a little. It would probably also help smooth the skin imperfections behind the model's left knee.

You just need to make a page, any page, call it index.html and put it in the top level directory Index of /gallery

It should be a page where surfers looking to view the pics for free end up seeing join links. As Zeuse said you could put a fpa there. Personally, I would just redirect it to the tour page.

Do some research on custom 404 pages too

The second picture is pretty ok but the first one is a little bit dark. Use flash and it's going to be ok.

The first one did have flash as you can see up her skirt, it was pretty dark under those trees.
