Too much text same words will get you banned???

If I have a bunch of the same targeted keywords in my site will I end up getting banned from major SE? I thought thats what your suppose to do..

There is always a fine line, and not all SE's like the same things.

I can't recall offhand but some major SEO's have given advice on keyword density as a percentage, that is the percentage of keywords compared to the rest of the onpage text.

Some searching should get you the exact amounts, but I remember it being 2-10% depending on who you believe.

You won't get banned , but having the same keyword over and over again will get you lower in the SE's .
