please advise on a few SEO questions I have

Hello, please advise on a few SEO questions I have and stuff I am doing related to SEO. Are blog meta tags different from regular web site meta tags do SE's treat them differently when I view the code of blogs there meta tags look different than other sites.

Is it alright if I put all of the keyword phrases that I am using for a site in one h tag seperated by commas like: <h3>xxx, xxx, xxx, xxx</h3> is there an amount I should not pass like 10 or so?

Thanks.

What do you mean their meta tags look different? Indeed some blog scripts add a few extra meta tags but in general they use the same.

Blogs will more likely use more meta tags because the programmers of the blog will have specified lots of things which aren't of any real interest to SEO. Keep focused on keyword/description meta tags.

Don't put more than ONE phrase in your biggest h tag as a title. Your title is a very strong part of the SEO but must also read as naturally as possible for real visitors as well as the SE bots. If you need to add more keywords as titles, make sub headings further down the page using lower h tags.

Adding lots of keywords in one go is not going to work long term, better to add a few focused terms / a phrase on each page, and create new pages for each term / phrase you're targetting.

meta tags are all the same whether it be on blogs, or regular sites. Just always remember to have the description, keyword, and robot tags and you will do fine. You might of perhaps seen a weird meta tag that was a verify tag for Google Sitemaps

OK thanks for your input I just was a bit confused I have seen some meta tags with some rss info and stuff I am not familiar with code stuff I just copy/paste I usually just use one of those quick meta tag creators out there that ask for title, desc. and keywords and spit out the code I did here in webmaster radio something about a tag in the meta tag that should be used in your blog so the crawler stays in your blog or goes back instead of following links away from your blog something like that o well for those that use BO I was trying to understand the meta tag and h tags. BO has the %%BOMETA%% tag were it places the rss feed and or meta tag in the header. BO also has h tags that are placed in the body of template like this h 1 title and h 2 with I think content or post not sure and h 3 with a string of all the keywords I used seperated by a comma the tags are correctly used I am not able to use it here cause of the forum script. I just added after BO's meta tag my own meta tag but not sure if SE's will skip or penalize my site SEO for having 2 meta tags.
Thanks.
