A bunch of SEO questions
Was thinking about some things last night and thought i'd ask more experienced ppl. So...
1) How do bots handle javascript generated code? Since the output is generated client side, are the bots/crawlers able to read it and index it ? 2) How can i make crawlers ignore content on my site? Not the whole page mind you, and not links with nofollow, i'm talking about a div for instance, or a paragraph with html in it 3) Do they index and crawl i-f-r-a-m-e-s ? If not i guess that would answer question no. 2 lol __________________

Question 1 : Search engine don't like javascript at all. They can crawl some links between javascript but not the script as it's made. If you can, remove the scripts or put them on an "****" external file. You will gain more speed to you site and less bandwith traffic.
Question 2 : Can't make a Search Engine ignore some parts of the code, you can make some changes and "comment" them but they will not apear on the webpage. So the answear is no. Question 3 : Yes, search engine can crawl the content from an ******, but think... if you put an ****** on your site i won't contain meta tags, links, or other stuff. The search engine will crawl them as a new page. Advice : Don't use FRAMES, ******S.... search engine don't like them. Lot of luck ![]() __________________
