Hello Everyone,
I have given up on working on SEO for my site by myself (just don't have the time). I have an adult site that gets zero hits from search engines. Can anyone recommend a good company that does great SEO work on adult sites? Please tell me what they have accomplished with your site, or why you recommend them. Thank you! |

First thing I would do is drop the warning page on the index, or if you insisted on keeping it then make the page bigger and move the generic "you must be 18 blah blah" way down the page and put some keyword rich text above it. Your index is the most important part of your site and imho it's wasted in your case.
I'm not really sure what keywords you are targeting, certainly there's nothing on the current pages to suggest to me you are targetting anything in particular. All the pages need more text and choose a few keywords that you are aiming for, perhaps bolden them for extra emphasis. Everything seems to be very generic "Full HD Quality Episodes", "Live Webcams", "Updated Daily". If you do a site search on Google: "site:yourdomain.com" it shows the pages of your site that are in Google and how they appear. If you take out the contact page, 2257, privacy policy etc then there really isnt anything left. You need more content with keyword rich text. I would take out your website name from your title on most pages and write a 6 word title for each page. Again, lack of any real content makes this a little difficult as it is. Your description entries are again generic text mostly auto lifted from the page text because there is no meta description. Use one to write a specific description for each page. There are no H1 or H2 tags, these are very important and should be used to explain to the SE spiders the relative importance of certain terms. Use CSS to make these look the way you want them to, the appearance is not important but the use of these tags is. There's lots of javascript in your code, I would reduce the code on your page by calling these from a separate file rather than in the page code itself. Your css appears to be mostly from an external file but some of it is on page - take this off the page and put it in the css. You will need to build up some backlinks too, do this little by little. If you dont want to put links on this site then make other sites, blogs, se pages etc and offer ABC tardes with you linking from your blogs and others linking back to this site. You could also make a blog on various freehosts and point links to this site from there to further increase your inbound links. Well, that's a start. Hope it helps. Incidentally where does this "b ackdoor access points to the world’s best adult websites, giving member’s unlimited access" come from - I hope it's legitimate. Hello, I wanted to thank you for taking the time and helping me, but I have a few questions below on some of your tips:
First thing I would do is drop the warning page on the index, or if you insisted on keeping it then make the page bigger and move the generic "you must be 18 blah blah" way down the page and put some keyword rich text above it. For the warning page, I was trying to replicate bangbros and other similar sites. When you talk about "keyword rich text", what keywords are you specifically thinking I should target? These are ones I have thought of: amature, anal, sex, fucking, hardcore porn, naked girls, hot girls, sex videos, nude, porn website. Let me know if you have any other keyword suggestions. I'm not really sure what keywords you are targeting, certainly there's nothing on the current pages to suggest to me you are targetting anything in particular. All the pages need more text and to include more keywords. Everything seems to be very generic "Full HD Quality Episodes", "Live Webcams", "Updated Daily". Please let me know what keywords you suggest. If you do this search on Google: site:iLinkDirect | The Link To Premium Adult Sites, 24/7 Webcams. Download Movies! (iLinkDirect | The Link To Premium Adult Sites, 24/7 Webcams. Download Movies!) it shows the pages of your site that are in Google and how they appear. If you take out the contact page, 2257, privacy policy etc then there really isnt anything left. You need more content with keyword rich text. I see I would take out your website name from your title on most pages and write a 6 word title for each page, I doubt anyone is searching for it. Again, lack of any real content makes this a little difficult. Your description entries are again generic text mostly lifted from the page text. Use the meta description tag to write a specific description for each page. Should the meta description be different for each page? There are no H1 or H2 tags, these are very important and should be used to explain to the SE spiders the relative importance of certain terms. Use CSS to make these look the way you want them to, the appearance is not important but the use of these tags is. What is the difference between H1 and H2 and metatags? There's lots of javascript in your code, I would reduce the code on your page by calling these from a separate file rather than in the page code itself. Your css appears to be mostly from an external file but some of it is on page - take this off the page and put it in the css. Good tip You will need to build up some backlinks too, do this little by little. If you dont want to put links on this site then make other sites, blogs, se pages etc and offer ABC tardes with you linking from your blogs and others linking back to this site. You could also make a blog on various freehosts and point links to this site from there to further increase your inbound links. I was thinking about doing this, but this could take some time to get started in design and content. Any ideas you can give me to get this started quick and easy? Well, that's a start. Hope it helps. Yes, this all did help, thank you! Incidentally where does this "******** access points to the world’s best adult websites, giving member’s unlimited access" come from - I hope it's legitimate. I am offering content from other sites, also offering feeds i pay for. Everything is 100% legit. Again thank you for all of this info. And sorry if these questions sound stupid, but I am brand new to all of this |

I would like to add you really need to look at the design of your site it just doesn't look like you are selling adult at all and if I was a surfer I wouldn't know what you are trying to sell me. To me the site looks bland and commercial not sexy and adult.

Everything Nottslad has said plus... Your title tag looks like spam to Google
<title>iLinkDirect | The Link To Premium Adult Sites, 24/7 Webcams. Download Movies!</title> Never contain phrases in your title that are not mentioned somewhere on the page. With a 'general' adult site its no use being page 3 or 4 on Google for lets say "Adult Webcams" and "Adult Movies"... Much better to target ONE and go all out for it IMHO __________________

I see your point, however, the big sites like Bangbros have an army of affiliates who send traffic. Any SE traffic they receive is but a mere bonus. I'm not quite sure why many big sites have a warning page, when others dont, but it's certainly not for SE purposes. As for keywords without really knowing what your site offers in the member area then it's difficult for me to say what you should aim for. But the terms you mention are extremely competitive so I would'nt even try. Instead aim for longer two or three keyword combos by adding adjectives e.g. instead of just "anal", use "deep anal fucking" etc. This is far easier to achieve on a niched site instead of a general porn site and the traffic it brings is highly targeted. Just one reason why most of us affiliates stick to niched sites instead of general ones. Should the meta description be different for each page? Yes, definitely. Choose 20 or so words that make a readable sentence including keywords with your most important ones at the front of the sentence. What is the difference between H1 and H2 and metatags? H tags are like headlines in a newspaper. H1 is the attention grabbing headline, H2 a subheading, H3 of lesser importance and so on. I would only use 1 or maybe 2 H1 tags on each page but you could have several H2's I wouldnt really bother with H3's onwards. Metatags are really for search engines and tell them what the site is about how to crawl it the type of content etc. H tags are more for people. That's probably not the strict definition but if you think along those lines you wont go far wrong, although there is some crossover. I was thinking about doing this, but this could take some time to get started in design and content. Any ideas you can give me to get this started quick and easy? There's no quick and easy recipe. At least if there is no one is sharing it. The techniques I mentioned in my first post all work but they take time and knoweldge to build and develop. Of course, once you do have traffic then you've got to be able to convert it into paying customers. lilpixie is right in that your site doesnt look like a pornsite, people are not sure what you're selling or what they get. At least try and get them a little bit horny! At the moment it looks very generic and sterile. Take a look at other paysites and see how they do it. It is often said that starting a paysite without significant experience as an affiliate beforehand is a recipe for failure, and this is something I would agree with. It's probably fairest to be blunt and say that if you dont feel you have the time to devote to promote your site and "learn the ways of the jedi" beforehand then it's going to be a tough road to see any return on this project. You are correct, it is hard to find a good SEO expert to handle your site, however nuttslod sounds like he know what he is talking about. The more questions i get answered, the more questions come up. Nuttslod, would you be interested in doing SEO work for me? Or if you have someone you can recommend. Thank you again for all of your help!

As mentioned in my PM reply yesterday, I'm too wrapped up in my own projects at the moment. Plus, to be honest, I prefer to work for myself.
There are plenty of others who know their stuff at the pond who may be able to help you on a paid basis, just make sure you check out their reputation and ask for references before making a deal. "Nuttslod" ![]() |

Can you tell me what you are selling inside...
you are selling a link list? This is one part of the site, sorta like an easy directory to assist the member. Quote: iLinkDirect is a link sharing site you offer content, who owns it? Some of the content I offer is from pluginfeed companies. Quote: access to an endless supply of adult media. Seems to me everything you offer on this page throws up warning signs... besides contradicting... iLinkDirect | What's Inside? What do you mean by warning signs or contradicting? I assure you everything in this site is 100% legal and ment more for the novice adult view, so therefore the reduced price of $4.95. * No Hidden Charges? Yes, no hidden charges... * Access Secret Tips on How to Access Free Adult Content "why?" another simple section of the site, offering general information, so advance porn surfers already know. * 24/7 Access to Live Nude Webcams There is no charge to access live webcams? Yes, no charge to access webcams other then the membership costs. * 140+ Premium Sites! You offer access to 140+ premium sites? Show me 20 Again, keep in mind my site is not for the advance porn surfer, and you would probably find the content useless to you. However a ton of my members that are brand new to internet porn find the content very helpful and enjoy using it, well worth the 4.95 monthly cost. So, in conclusion, you get what you pay for. |
