Sometimes you see a site get like 282,000 on alexa and the site is spanking new. Although I must admit some of the sites got the majority of their hits from places like Turkey. Not alot of paying traffic from these places either. While nice, none of the webmasters tell me how they do this when I ask.
I am not necessarily a big threat, as I am an indie site, so I would think someone can help.
If you know someone who has proof and clients who can be called about topping ranks, searches, and verify their business number, I would be interested in a bonafide SEO type right now.
I have gotten a book on the subject.... hey, need 400 hrs in every week to do everything that's net related!!

I don't know that I would consider a good alexa ranking as evidence that a site has done well with SEO.

Search engine ranking is not actual brain surgery, its common sense for the most part. Offer search engines something they want they will like you. Search engines like meta tags, they like easy to navigate sites, they don't like flash and javascript. They like content and keywords that are relevant to the subject matter of the site.

You will learn much more from a search engine forum or a search engine information site than any so called professional. Many professionals just spam to get you a ranking for a bit, it never lasts long. Long term benefits come with time and working at it slowly.

I don't know if I'm qualified, but I've held 3 sites before and also a blog. It's about panties.

So if you typed "pantie" in google I think the site is still on top. The sites were, pantyamateur.com and pantymaniacs.com... I also have a blog and if you type "sexy pantie" on google, i think it'll show up together with the other sites... the blog is sexy-girls-in-panties.com and also if you typed "upskirts" ukupskirts.com will be on top. They did a good job on maintaining this KW...
