Try ExpressSubmit's tools
This is a great site for newbies to test out their site's Keywords, Title, Meta Tags etc. It gives you a visual of how shitty or how great your site is optimized. I highly suggest this site.

Also, don't forget once you create your sitemap to let google and other se's know you've updated/created it.
