Yahoo Traffic Tutorial

Okay people,
before couple of weeks as i mentioned I started some SEO
project. So this thread will be some update of it plus lots
of info for all of you.

So the deal is mainly about SEO. What i did? I took 5 unused
domains and started heavily building pages on them (well i am using
scripts automation for this thing..but for you doesn't matter).

So how i got all my pages indexed in Yahoo in no time?
You might know this already, but anyways i will tell it to the
ones that don't know it, since it works for me and i feel i need
to share it

Here's the deal. As i learnt from some of the Thomasbyers
tutorials i created a feed containing all my pages i create
and just submitted it to yahoo and thats all. Each day my script
produces a new page on my domains it adds it to the feed and pings
yahoo and thats all.

So if you want to have all your pages indexed in yahoo just do this:
- create yourself a feed and put in it all your pages. You might
use some script to do this, if you can't find you can hit me up
and i will throw you one cheap script to create easily and update your feed.
- submit your feed to my.yahoo.com (put it in your homepage there)
- each time you release a page, add it to the feed and ping yahoo.
For the pinging you can either do it manually or use a script.
If you don't have one you can grab my Rocket pinger to do this
for you..

I am testing the same stuff for MSN and Google. My results there
so far are also satisfying and i see my pages are getting indexed
but the process there seems to be more slower than yahoo.

If you don't believe me, go ahead and do a search for:
bigsexpics.com or hot-fucking-pics.com for example at yahoo
you will see how many pages are indexed and those pages are
built from about the last 30 days..

I noticed the same mechanism at work for me in Yahoo with one of my blogs. Yahoo is incredibly quick to recognize a new post to a blog, and immediately index it. But I can't seem to get a piece of the Google pie. When I check your big-sex-pics site, yahoo shows that it has indeed indexed 80 pages... but google has only indexed 1 page.

yeah, really works and i am amazed how simply it is..now just need to work more on the SEO itself of the pages to get them for better positions and then the traffic will start rolling even more

yeah, google is kinda different, but with more playing will find and something that works there too

hello kaktusan, i will like to ask a question about pinging.. I dont understand what people mean by pinging.
Can you please explain how to ping manually.
and also what are the advantages of pinging

fivestar, well pinging basically means to inform certain type of sites that you have updated your sites, so they will come and spider the new stuff. To perform a manual ping go to a service like http://www.pingoat.com and use the form there..

The advantages of pinging comes from the explanation itself - you inform you have new content so SEs are encouraged to come and spider your stuff faster..

What you mean creat feed ? You mean sitemap.xml ? or is it looks like atom.xml ?

fivestar, ofcourse you should ask knowledge is being built with questions

Dglobal, no sitemap.xml is google sitemap..
a feed is like the blogs rss feeds..

I love yahoo traffic, and do really well with SE placement on yahoo. While google is bigger I think yahoo converts slightly better for me.

just noticed that the stuff started giving results and in Google, checkout the pages indexed for domain bigsexpics.com

At yahoo i see everything is going as usual, everything is being listed pretty fast..

well, i am using mine simple script to build me the feeds, but you can use any free scripts you can find that create feeds, i know there are some out there..if someone knows any of them, please post in here..
