epassporte nightmares!

Hi All,

I've been recently trying to start up an epassporte account so affiliates can pay me via epassporte. I live in Australia & cashing checks here is a nightmare - the fee's the banks charge are through the roof & I literally lose about 20% on each check - that really adds up.

Now the problem is; whenever I try and create an epassporte account you have to 'load' money into it. This is fine, I having working credit card and what not. But the problem is epassporte does a $1-$2 charge on my CC to verify it.. In Australia (or maybe just my CC specifically) the minimum charge my card can do is $5 so it automatically rejects the $2 charge and in turn epassporte thinks my CC isn't valid... *sigh*

So I contacted epassporte and asked if they could maybe do a $5 charge or try any other avenues - they told me to contact my bank. So I called my bank and there is nothing they can do, they told me to work it out with epassporte!

So I was hoping someone/anyone here has come across the same problem and somehow managed to rectify it or if anyone has any advice, it would be greatly appreciated.

Ask one of your sponsors to set up an account for you. If you do regular sales with a sponsor then they should do it. One did it for me no problem.

Do you try to contact someone from e-passporte.I have the same problem with e-pass and when i contact them they said that i can`t open personal account because i live in risk country for them(Macedonia) So i must ask someone to open account for me.

We can manually verify your credit card, for this we will need:
Copy of ID
Copy of front and back of card
Copy of a recent statement for the card.

No,.. some sponsors cheap out and just make you a virtual visa account..
most however will get you the virtual and physical card to start off.
