First off who the hell is sb anyway. I am an old dog, been around netpond sence it was known as condom project, I learned here I networked here.. This is my home, I dont venture out much, and I go the extra mile for newbies. I call this thread sleazybears folder, There is a webmaster called cyberwench, you may know her as wenchy, back in the day of yor I would post on condom projects board all kinds of thoughts, idea's tricks and tips, and she would always post, another one for my sb folder.

Simple things mean so much, When your working on your sales txt, one word can make the difference. You have to intice with your sales txt, open a surfers mind, make them courious. Remember courousity killed the cat, works here too. Use words that are not normal, and not even thought of, xxx, uninhibited, unsencored, use alot of discription words in your sales, exagerate a little tell little white lies sometimes.. hey its sales.. you ever know an honest used car salesman? But you got to be believable too, so don't go to far out on a limb. Dont put a sales txt that says 2 gizzilion free hardcore pics when they only have 1 gazzilion. Be creative in your txt.. dont put up what john down the block is putting up as his sales txt, create your own. But you can go to the places like the hun, and some of the other tgp's and check out what some of the other webmasters are putting up so you get the general idea.

Ok sb what is that?
A nitche is like a fetish.. like bbw, feet, anal, balloons, midget. You content should always match your sponcers, if you have a bbw sponcer on a teen site, you prob not going to get allot of sales from it, but if you have a bbw teen site then thats different. When a surfer comes to a tgp,se, link list, there looking for content that turns them on, most like weird, some like strange, some are even normal. The difference is what is weird to you, may be normal to them, or the other way around. It takes time but look around you will see what sales the best and what you can sell the best.

When you build a site, build it for your surfers not for you, what I mean is if your rez on your monitor is set at 1200x1200 you build at 1200x1200 when you build you need to set your screen rez at 800x600 so you see the site as surfers see it, not everyone runs a big screen tv for a monitor.

When you build a website, and you have double checked your work, you can still have a mistake in it, and not even know it, the biggest mistake I see newbie webmasters make is the image that pulls from there own hard drive, they see it but the surfer or webmaster checking there site submission dont see this image. This is the reason alot of galleries get turned down on alot of link list and tgp's. They make programs to check this, but I am an old dog, and if I dont do it myself I feel like I am not in control. What you need to do, is after you build a site, or tgp page, and you upload it, change the folder name on your hard drive, add a 1 to the folder name, then go to the page and/or the site, and check every page, every image. It like in math class when you was in high school ( I know yuk) but double checking your work can increase your sales and your listing approvals. If your doing this to make a liveing, do it right, dont do it half assed, take a little time to check things, and remember one of my rules an ounce of prevention is better than a bucket of sorrow.

Ok this is one of them post that you prob wont find alot of places,
Part of this comes from carrie, always like to give credit to where it came from..
When your sitting there with your eyes ready to pop out of your head and your fingers feel like rubber, get up walk away you have passed the rubber fingers zone. You make more typo's and more mistakes when your like this. A good way to prevent this is get a cheap timmer, for every 45 minutes you work, get up and walk away for 15, go get something to drink, talk to someone that is home, take the dog out to pee, take the invisable dog out to pee, take you out to pee, anything just get out of the chair. Or at the very least focus your eyes somewhere else for 15 minutes, have you wife or girlfriend walk around in front of you for 15 minutes naked, or something, just get your eyes off the computer. your hands off the keyboard and your hand off the mouse. twiddle your thumbs, get a rubber ball and toss it in the air, i keep a water ball around me all the time, one its stays pretty cool, and relieves the stress on my hands, second it changes the motion of my hands.

Your eyes, there very important there the only pair you have. use a monitor that isnt as big as big screen tv, but one thats not the size of a coffee can either. Drink lots of water, get plenty of sleep. Go to the park and walk, make sure your not sitting on your ass for 12 hours a day. asses are strange they tend to get flabby and flat when you sit in a chair all day, so take care of them, i am not talking about takeing a spinning class, I am talking normal walking. You have to learn a level of equal sitting vers moveing. Your body will feel better, you will be less stressed.

You can still work, while your walking take a little note pad with you, and write out some sales txt, ask the old lady sitting on the park bench to help you out to see what she thinks of your sales txt.. lol, no dont do that, keep it to yourself, but just think things out a little go over things in your head, picture what you want your next website or tgp templete to look like. things like that..

I can tell you right now when you was a kid, when your mom asked you what you wanted to be when you grow up, your answer wasn't an adult webmaster, or an internet hough heffner, but if your reading this there is a pretty good chance you are. When I stated in this biz it was a hobby, something to work on in the evenings after work, and on weekend, back in in those days you could sell dog shit in a box pretty easy, now days its tuff to even sell a dog. No matter how you dress her up. But what some people fail to think about is this is a business and must be treated as one. When you start out you should have a few key elements, one is a po box, or an alternate mail address, a business checking acount, and business paperwork from the state, or goverment where they live, you dont want checks comming to your house, you dont want the local church to know where your at. you need to keep records of money in and money out, yes you have to pay taxes on this stuff. So keep your records in a safe place because at the end of the year you will need to know exactly how much you made and how much you spent.

Get orginized, It make it alot easyer if you have a plan. Make a to do list, of what your going to do on each day, set some goals for yourself. I used to build on sunday, 7 tgp galleries, and take the 7 galleries and make 4 free sites out of the galleries and 4 avs sites, on monday i would submit 1 tpg galler and 1 free site, and 1 avs site, then on tuesday and wensday and thursday do the same, then on friday and saturday submit a tgp gallery and finish up the images, but thats how I did things, if I missed a day, I would put the gallery in an extra folder, yes I had alot of extra's and if sunday came around and I had enough for the week then I would take sunday off, or do something I didnt have a chance to do. If I didnt make my goal no problem it went to the next day.. I didnt have a cow, it was no big deal, sometimes we cant make our goals. but at least I knew where I was at on my to do list. To make things easyer I had pages made up that already had the tgp links on the top, or if an index page the link backs on it, That way I didnt have to go hunting for link back buttons, I have a txt file of what page gets submitted to what site, It makes it alot easyer, I am from old school so auto submit programs was never used, I am a firm believer in hand submit. I do use programs to build my meta's but always hand submitted to search engines. My images I always hand cut, but I do use auto thumbnailer programs, I am a firm believer in haveing control over whats happening, I have never seen a batch program cut images the way they need cut. So get a little organization, and set some goals for yourself.

I have stomped around the net and looked at alot of galleries, I have seen prob every nitche and every kind of image out there, but something I always see, and it makes me sit there and wonder how new this person is. I have always had the habbit of right mouseing on an image to see its size, some have amazed me at being 60-200 kbs that about drives me crazy, When you get your images on a cds they are norm pretty raw, You need to prep them before you use them, cut them down in rez and size, you should never run an image thats over 40 kb and thats on the absolut max, your giveing this stuff away for free and its costing you money to serve it. The bigger the kb size the more it cost you. Its kind of like serving up steak when you should be serving up dog food. Remember if your serving up steak why would a surfer click on your links when you have already given them some of the best images on the net.

You got you computer and it was pretty fast, now it is slower than makeing soup from rocks, There is a good reason for this, you have loaded programs, deleted programs, surfed the net till you have almost reached what feels like the end, and your computer sits there screaming to itself, I am over loaded, I have ate so much information I am fat as an elephant. And your sitting there saying, this damn computer is slower than my grandma without her humm around. The only problem to this, is you cant see how fat your computer has gotten and it cant tell you. So you being the operater and controller of this fine peice of shit machinery that you paid boocoo bucks for need to do something. Every saturday night you should clear your internet cache files, or temperary internet files, clear your recycle bin, and run scan disk, then on sunday night before you go to bed run defrag... There is one little glitch here, If you wake up saturday morning and that little box shows bad sectors, guess what soon your going to be screwed. What is happening in the inside of that spinning information tilt a whirl, is the drive is flakeing, the little magnetic crap they put on there to hold the information is saying I want off this wild ride, The best thing to do is just grin and bear it, and trip on down to the computer store or go over to pricewatch.com and get you a new one, put it in have it copy your information and go on. Every hard drive comes with instructions, its not rocket science, if you can put together one of them damn toys your kids had to have for christmas you can put in a hard drive.

I have been asked many times over the years, How do I choose the right sponcer. There really isnt a wrong way, but there is some clues to help you choose sponcers that are going to help you in the long run. First reputable sponcers dont spam you, they can loose there pipeline if they do. Second off they dont do it. If I get spammed from a sponcer, the email is dumped.. It helps if the sponcer has been around along time, or if it a new sponcer that you have seen the person post on the boards. Not just one post, but many..

The first thing you should do when considering a new sponcer is read there tos, or fact, This is there little key to how they operate if they dont have a tos, you really have no contract with them either way, and there not worth useing.

So once you have read there tos and you agree to it, save it in a folder on your hard drive. second thing to do is email them, any reputable sponcer is going to reply to your email in 24 hours if they dont, or the email bounces trash there tos on your drive and go elsewhere. Make sure you email them on a weekday, cause weekends dont count in the 24 hour plan.

When I email them I norm ask them for there phone number so that I can call and talk to there staff, If they refuse, there trashed. If my stats are screwed I want to talk to a live person, and email dont get it.

I go to netsol and I check where there main offices is, if they have a yahoo or free email service running there mail, there dumped. Any reputable sponcer is going to have a real email listed on netsol.

Sometimes you may have to go to another site but it is norm listed on netsol where this other site is to look them up. If a sponcer you are chooseing to use for a partnership and you get % of the signup plus reacurring, then you need to see what the inside of the site looks like to make that decision dont just asume sence a sponcer gives you this option that the site is updated regularly, this is very important when you decide to do a partnership because if the same crap month after month your not going to be able to keep a % client base and make money on a partnership. Look very closely at who proccess there credit cards, If its some wacked out company in russia you tend to want to shy away from them.

The next thing is very important, do they have tech support to where they have someone that knows the biz and can help you with your pages, if they don't and they don't know how to sell there own product, how they going to help you.

Most reliable sponcers have someone on staff that can help you. Alot of newbie webmasters dont know this, but there is always someone around a reputable sponcer that knows whats going on and can help you. The next thing you should do is check out the sites they want you to sell, if it looks like shit you are not going to be able to sell it. It dont matter if its free to join or cost 80 bucks if the sites are not sellable your not going to be able to sell them, period.

I used to look a sponcers banners, but every newbie or oldbee should know, that makeing custom banners and txt links is your responcability, so this isnt as important as it used to be.

There is also something else you can do, do a lookup on alexa
http://www.alexa.com/ see what there stats look like, how much traffic there getting, if the sites your promoting is getting to much traffic or not enough traffic, then you kind of need to make a dicision if you wont to promote them.

There is many factors to every sponcer and every situation, not every sponcer is good for every webmaster, your the one that has to judge that. Some webmasters are better at selling once sponcer while others are better at selling another, this is a trial and error thing, you should try many sponcers and find the sites that are easyest for you to make a sale

I dont post this one very often, I taught it over at BB, but I will post it here now. You want to make a good impression on a webmaster that owns a link list or tgp, its really simple and its a nice way to say thank you. You seem to get listed alot with this one link list or site, the webmaster has always been good to you, be nice to them, send them a holiday card or a thank you card via snail mail, if you have gotten a few signups from them, or you have gotten alot of signups from them send them a gift cert to somewhere. If you want tgp and link list owners to stand up and really notice you, thank them, they are people too. It dont have to be outragous just a nice thank you is very appriciated by them.
They are very hard working people just like you.

What every you do never post a negitive post about any link list or tgp or another webmaster , it dont matter who they are, business people dont like to see other business people bitten in the ass for on a post.

Dont put all your fruit in one basket, You should work with what you have, and expand on it, if you do tgp, you should learn avs, and if you do avs then you should also do free sites. Then when you get to where you can sell just about anything, think about a non adult sites. I know one webmaster that sells the peoties out of books from her adult site, because she runs traffic from her adult site, to a website that is kind of a mini amazon site. useing amazon as the warehouse for her books, she doesnt carry one book of invitory but does well selling books. So once you get going dont be afraid to try new ideas and new things, and besides the ideas that are kick ass, havent been thought of.

I have been given the task of checking a couple of link lists while a dear friend is on holiday.
I have done this for 2 days now, and its the same mistakes of why sites dont get listed as they was 5 years ago..

First off READ THE RULES!!!!

Second free hosting and sponcer pictures are a waste of time, at least to me anyway, soon as I see that sponcer logo on a pic, the site is dumped. I am not against useing this on sites when your learning, but the big thing with me is, there is so many hardworking webmasters out there, that are spending money on hosting and content, That I hate to list freebee sites.

If I hit a site, and the images are over 50k I wont list it, one your wasteing bandwidth, and second off I am not going to kill you with traffic and a high bandwidth bill because you dont know any better than to cut your images down.

If the site says no hardcore images and you try to throw them in an amature listing, because there is no hardcore select option, its not going to change anything, it still wont get listed, reading the rules is very important.

If you submit a template one day, make a new one, because the same template the next day dont make it, the site looks the same to me, over and over again.

If a site is a tgp page and you try to get it listed on a link site or the other way around it dont get it and your wasteing your time. and the webmasters time.

I love to do submission on a tgp or link list, it shows me the skills out there, some are sharp, some are dull. I am seeing more java colored scroll bars, if you do this match the page with the color, but alot of sites there scripting see's java and the script cuts the submission for haveing java on it. So watch the rules make the same site without the java for submitting to sites that dont allow java.

Make sure your sponcer banners match your content (very important)

Dont use banners alone, make sure you have some kind of text with a banner, and make it bite hard, make the surfer want to click.

If I see the words, young boys, or young girls on a banner, or txt I dont list the site, Be careful what you put up, those are kind of dirty words and are ment to imply and you dont want to do that, it may make for better sales, But your implying child pornography, when you use those words together.

Every newbie I have ever met makes this mistake, always put a index in every folder, alot of html programs and I know front page is bad about this, will make a folder called images, why pull a whole html page when the surfer can just hit your image folder and pull all the want, also makes it easyer to hotlink your images..

You should always have anti hotlinking on your domain, if you do pic post you should have a domain set up just for that. I have seen a russian site yank 8 gigs a day off a website because it didnt have an antihotlinking script and the webmaster got nothing for it.

I got to be one of the tuffest reviewers out there, if the site meets the rules its listed, if it dont then I dont list it. When reviewing for someone else its hard because you have to please the webmaster that owns the site, remember this when submitting because most large sites, the owner doesnt do all the checking but has someone around to help.

Make a to do list, of what your going to do on each day, set some goals for yourself. I used to build on sunday, 7 tgp galleries, and take the 7 galleries and make 4 free sites out of the galleries and 4 avs sites, on monday i would submit 1 tpg galler and 1 free site, and 1 avs site, then on tuesday and wensday and thursday do the same, then on friday and saturday submit a tgp gallery and finish up the images, but thats how I did things, if I missed a day, I would put the gallery in an extra folder, yes I had alot of extra's and if sunday came around and I had enough for the week then I would take sunday off, or do something I didnt have a chance to do. If I didnt make my goal no problem it went to the next day.. I didnt have a cow, it was no big deal, sometimes we cant make our goals. but at least I knew where I was at on my to do list. To make things easyer I had pages made up that already had the tgp links on the top, or if an index page the link backs on it, That way I didnt have to go hunting for link back buttons, I have a txt file of what page gets submitted to what site, It makes it alot easyer, I am from old school so auto submit programs was never used, I am a firm believer in hand submit. I do use programs to build my meta's but always hand submitted to search engines. My images I always hand cut, but I do use auto thumbnailer programs, I am a firm believer in haveing control over whats happening, I have never seen a batch program cut images the way they need cut. I have always had the habbit of right mouseing on an image to see its size, some have amazed me at being 60-200 kbs that about drives me crazy, When you get your images on a cds they are norm pretty raw, You need to prep them before you use them, cut them down in rez and size, you should never run an image thats over 40 kb and thats on the absolut max, your giveing this stuff away for free and its costing you money to serve it. The bigger the kb size the more it cost you. Its kind of like serving up steak when you should be serving up dog food. And your sitting there saying, this damn computer is slower than my grandma without her humm around. The only problem to this, is you cant see how fat your computer has gotten and it cant tell you. So you being the operater and controller of this fine peice of shit machinery that you paid boocoo bucks for need to do something. Every saturday night you should clear your internet cache files, or temperary internet files, clear your recycle bin, and run scan disk, then on sunday night before you go to bed run defrag... There is one little glitch here, If you wake up saturday morning and that little box shows bad sectors, guess what soon your going to be screwed. What is happening in the inside of that spinning information tilt a whirl, is the drive is flakeing, the little magnetic crap they put on there to hold the information is saying I want off this wild ride, The best thing to do is just grin and bear it, and trip on down to the computer store or go over to pricewatch.com and get you a new one, put it in have it copy your information and go on. There really isnt a wrong way, but there is some clues to help you choose sponcers that are going to help you in the long run. First reputable sponcers dont spam you, they can loose there pipeline if they do. Second off they dont do it. If I get spammed from a sponcer, the email is dumped.. It helps if the sponcer has been around along time, or if it a new sponcer that you have seen the person post on the boards. Not just one post, but many.. The first thing you should do when considering a new sponcer is read there tos, or fact, This is there little key to how they operate if they dont have a tos, you really have no contract with them either way, and there not worth useing. So once you have read there tos and you agree to it, save it in a folder on your hard drive. second thing to do is email them, any reputable sponcer is going to reply to your email in 24 hours if they dont, or the email bounces trash there tos on your drive and go elsewhere. Make sure you email them on a weekday, cause weekends dont count in the 24 hour plan. When I email them I norm ask them for there phone number so that I can call and talk to there staff, If they refuse, there trashed. If my stats are screwed I want to talk to a live person, and email dont get it. I go to netsol and I check where there main offices is, if they have a yahoo or free email service running there mail, there dumped. Any reputable sponcer is going to have a real email listed on netsol. Sometimes you may have to go to another site but it is norm listed on netsol where this other site is to look them up. If a sponcer you are chooseing to use for a partnership and you get % of the signup plus reacurring, then you need to see what the inside of the site looks like to make that decision dont just asume sence a sponcer gives you this option that the site is updated regularly, this is very important when you decide to do a partnership because if the same crap month after month your not going to be able to keep a % client base and make money on a partnership. Look very closely at who proccess there credit cards, If its some wacked out company in russia you tend to want to shy away from them. The next thing is very important, do they have tech support to where they have someone that knows the biz and can help you with your pages, if they don't and they don't know how to sell there own product, how they going to help you. Most reliable sponcers have someone on staff that can help you. Alot of newbie webmasters dont know this, but there is always someone around a reputable sponcer that knows whats going on and can help you. The next thing you should do is check out the sites they want you to sell, if it looks like shit you are not going to be able to sell it. It dont matter if its free to join or cost 80 bucks if the sites are not sellable your not going to be able to sell them, period. I used to look a sponcers banners, but every newbie or oldbee should know, that makeing custom banners and txt links is your responcability, so this isnt as important as it used to be. There is also something else you can do, do a lookup on alexa http://www.alexa.com/ see what there stats look like, how much traffic there getting, if the sites your promoting is getting to much traffic or not enough traffic, then you kind of need to make a dicision if you wont to promote them. There is many factors to every sponcer and every situation, not every sponcer is good for every webmaster, your the one that has to judge that. You want to make a good impression on a webmaster that owns a link list or tgp, its really simple and its a nice way to say thank you. You seem to get listed alot with this one link list or site, the webmaster has always been good to you, be nice to them, send them a holiday card or a thank you card via snail mail, if you have gotten a few signups from them, or you have gotten alot of signups from them send them a gift cert to somewhere. If you want tgp and link list owners to stand up and really notice you, thank them, they are people too. It dont have to be outragous just a nice thank you is very appriciated by them. They are very hard working people just like you. Then when you get to where you can sell just about anything, think about a non adult sites. I know one webmaster that sells the peoties out of books from her adult site, because she runs traffic from her adult site, to a website that is kind of a mini amazon site. useing amazon as the warehouse for her books, she doesnt carry one book of invitory but does well selling books. I have done this for 2 days now, and its the same mistakes of why sites dont get listed as they was 5 years ago.. First off READ THE RULES!!!! Second free hosting and sponcer pictures are a waste of time, at least to me anyway, soon as I see that sponcer logo on a pic, the site is dumped. I am not against useing this on sites when your learning, but the big thing with me is, there is so many hardworking webmasters out there, that are spending money on hosting and content, That I hate to list freebee sites. If I hit a site, and the images are over 50k I wont list it, one your wasteing bandwidth, and second off I am not going to kill you with traffic and a high bandwidth bill because you dont know any better than to cut your images down. If the site says no hardcore images and you try to throw them in an amature listing, because there is no hardcore select option, its not going to change anything, it still wont get listed, reading the rules is very important. If you submit a template one day, make a new one, because the same template the next day dont make it, the site looks the same to me, over and over again. If a site is a tgp page and you try to get it listed on a link site or the other way around it dont get it and your wasteing your time. and the webmasters time. I love to do submission on a tgp or link list, it shows me the skills out there, some are sharp, some are dull. I am seeing more java colored scroll bars, if you do this match the page with the color, but alot of sites there scripting see's java and the script cuts the submission for haveing java on it. So watch the rules make the same site without the java for submitting to sites that dont allow java. Make sure your sponcer banners match your content (very important) Dont use banners alone, make sure you have some kind of text with a banner, and make it bite hard, make the surfer want to click. If I see the words, young boys, or young girls on a banner, or txt I dont list the site, Be careful what you put up, those are kind of dirty words and are ment to imply and you dont want to do that, it may make for better sales, But your implying child pornography, when you use those words together. Every newbie I have ever met makes this mistake, always put a index in every folder, alot of html programs and I know front page is bad about this, will make a folder called images, why pull a whole html page when the surfer can just hit your image folder and pull all the want, also makes it easyer to hotlink your images.. You should always have anti hotlinking on your domain, if you do pic post you should have a domain set up just for that. I have seen a russian site yank 8 gigs a day off a website because it didnt have an antihotlinking script and the webmaster got nothing for it. I got to be one of the tuffest reviewers out there, if the site meets the rules its listed, if it dont then I dont list it.
