hi there. dumb question alert! If I have tons of FHG's and all i want is for lots of people to see them (and hopefully then join my site) what works best here for those of you who aren't in the business of being an affiliate (ie guys who just want content for their TGP's etc).... a simple list of URL's? A text file with the url's? a dancing bear? Educate me on what you like best!

So you don't have an affiliate program?

In that case your best bet is submitting your galleries to TGP's like normal. With recips on the ones that require them.

She does have an affiliate program with CCBill friporr.

Anyway Jasmine, I like square preview thumbs for each gallery - preferably size 100X100. A url with my affiliate code in rather than a url I have to insert my affiliate code in. And a text description for each gallery also helps.

well, i thought the point would be that some people don't care about being affiliates, they just want to make a thumbsite to get lots of traffic, but they need picsets to fill up the space. maybe i was wrong. thanks for your help either way

but that way I would have to have a separate set of fhgs for every affiliate... wouldnt i? I was told by ccbill the only way to do was to turn on multiple redirects and allow the affiliate to add their code dynamically.... is there a better way to do it?

In this business you never know what some people will try.

But the whole point of a regular fake TGP as opposed to regular real TGP is that the TGP owner makes money on every sale that is generated by the galleries they list.

Maybe you have seen fake TGPs with excessive skimming. Skimming is when the surfers clicks on thumbs and instead of getting the gallery they expect they are sent to another site. It's a way of generating traffic. Usually the surfers get a few clicks to what they want then they click and get taken to another site - usually another tgp that is trading with the first site, or another tgp owned by the same webmaster. Apart from traffic generation - some believe that the surfer will get frustrated by being jerked around like this & will sign-up to a paysite so he/she can just watch some porn in peace.

When you see a fake tgp that skims you on the very first click you have to wonder what they are doing. I don't trust sites that do that at all. They could be trying to infect your computer with viruses & spyware. Or they could be taking you through a skim sequence to a site that sells illegal niche porn.

What is wrong with the way CCBill has told you to do it? It works for hundreds of sponsors that use CCBill.

On your webmaster tools page you say you have FHGs to help affiliates make sales:

They can't make sales if your galleries don't track their ID's.

You must at least have a list of url's for each gallery that affiliates can insert their aff ID into so that their clicks will get tracked & they get credit for the sales generated by the traffic (clicks) they are sending to you.

It would be better if affiliates could sign in with their aff. ID and then your program would generate all their links with their code inserted automatically.

E.G.
This is a url for an FHG without an aff. ID inserted -
DareRing.com
you must click on it to see it in the address bar it has xxxxxx at the end.

This is the same gallery with an aff. ID inserted - replacing the x's
DareRing.com

I just made the number 412345 up by the way - it's not my aff. ID. If they have an affiliate with that number & the link I posted here generates a sale then the affiliate with that number should get credit for that sale.

Incidentally, I just signed up to your affiliate program to see what you are offering now. You say you have 1000 FHGs but I see you have no where on your webmaster page for me to sigh in and get my codes for them. I see no way of even seeing your FHGs even without a place to insert my aff. ID. You don't even have any banners I can find . All I've been given to promote you is the CCBill aff.link url here: Slutty Jasmine!

Either give affiliates proper fhgs they can use following the advice CCBill has given you, or just give affiliates some banners & some free promo content they can use to make their own galleries that they host themselves.

Some of my best converting CCBill sponsors don't do fhgs or even free promo content. Just banners and aff.link url. But I don't think that would work for a site like yours. Not with my traffic anyway..

You really should get your affiliate program going. You could try to offer TGP's ready made lsits with your linking codes, but I doubt anyone would take you up on that offer.
Most affiliate programs already offer what you're offering, but with your affiliate code inserted already. You can usually specify how you would like it output, with delimiters and descriptions etc. Why would anyone put up your codes and make no money from them if you could just as easily (or easier it seems) put up linking codes to galleries where they earn money from the sales.

As for ccbill and the linking codes, you should either get someone to do it for you or if you have some experience with html and php you should do it yourself.

It's really simple to have a input-field where the affiliate could enter his affiliate code and have them automaticly added to the FHG links.

The very minimum if you're offering FHG's for your affills would be to have a list of all your FHG's where the affiliate manually got to replace the code.

I know you mean well and are trying to help, but I think you're getting a bit carried away, or at least jumping the gun in criticizing. There is a very good reason i don't have the 1000 url's immediately available the second you join as an affiliate. To guard agains porn surfers joining as a fake affiliate to get 1000 galleries of free porn. Once a potential affiliate joins, i review it personally and make sure they are a reputable site, then i give them a password for the separate area with the content. As I did in your case, if you look you will see a separate email from me with the link to 1000 galleries, dozens of banners, and lots of other goodies. So a little itchy on the trigger finger there, I actually had already done all the stuff you say i "have" to do.... I do appreciate the input, i just think you were a bit quick to jump on me.

On the point about having to insert the affiliate codes yourself, I just didn't see the value in writing a script to do something anybody could do in 30 seconds in word with search and replace (ie replace "index.htm" with "index.htm+yourAffiliateStringHere and it does all 1000 in a split second...) honestly you're the first person who asked for it. But when i have a moment of extra time I'll see if I can put something in there.

The post you started this thread with & your subsequent posts here have clearly confused everyone who has replied.

And initially you were quite clearly under the misapprehension that some sites would direct link to your fhgs without inclusion of their aff.code.

You asked us what we like for fhgs. I told you what I like.

If you want to guard against surfers signing up to get access to lots of free porn from your fhgs then you can set-up an auto response email for webmasters who sign-up to your affiliate program informing them that their application will be reviewed and once they are approved you will send them login details for accessing your webmaster tools.

There are several CCBill sponsors I have who do it this way, and when you get approved & get a login from them you also get the codes with your ID in - and the preview thumbs to use.

Also there's no harm in letting webmasters have some banners pre-approval to the fhgs listings either.

If you do this then at least webmasters will know for sure your program is active & set up to go.
