P.S.

Will this make the server run slower? I'm on shared hosting and I'm trying to keep the CPU usage down. Dose it take more CPU to block bots or to let them access the site? I'm getting 600-1200 page views a day.

That looks like it should work. It will increase the work done by the server slightly, but you really need to be doing 10's of thousands of hits per day, if not 100's of thousands to see any real difference in the server. With less than that, you shouldn't have any problems at all.

The only domain you have in the hotlinking section is Netpond. I thought you were using that for an example. You need to put your own domains in there as well.

Is there a way i can use .htaccess to stop google, yahoo, and msn from even accessing a set of pages? I'm using <meta name="robots" content="noindex, nofollow" /> and a Robots.txt file to tell them not to access the page but they do what ever they fell like no matter what i tell them not to do.
