Traffic Trading and Buying Question

Thisis a question about buying traffic...no I am not going to buy any yet I just want to know what exactly to do before i buy any in the future(which will be quite some time). Anyways here goes.

Lets say I have a a real TGP or a Link List and I am getting 1k per day to it. Now there are no trades on it as of yet. I will start to add trades now slowly and see which ones work best and drop the 3 that are the worst and continue to do this until I get about 20-30 good ones. Then I would lije to purchase traffic at this point.

What type is best for this? I was thinking clicked traffic(chokers or maybe some other one)

Now lets say I buy 100k from this source, how should I set my trades for this(skims) and what should I have already done before I start to send traffic to my site? What else should be set in place before traffic starts to be sent to my site?
