would it not be an idea to host the images your self and use your own adbright ads, also using links to your blogs??

Sure but again what I am trying to do is do it from the point of someone not having a penny to start their business. I am showing them how to do it for $0 investment. And if you had to use a image host imagevenue is the most stable and most reliable. I am not saying you have to host your images with imagevenue. You can host them yourself. But on free Blog Hosts imagevenue is the most stable. There are no bandwith issues and your image will be there when clicked.

I have several hosts myself however I want to keep an eye on band-width, I don't want to worry about some fool hotlinking to my images and I do not want to have to upload each image for every blog to a new server. Imagevenue is a great idea, I have paid the 12 month $19.95 which is a couple of months hosting and now it will be so easy to have a central url for all my blogs wishing to share the same pictures.

As an Itermediate in the porn industry and as someone with very limited knowledge when it comes to Blogs can I just add a few points that I have found following this thread to anyone considering doing the same:

1) I always had negative feelings towards Thumblogger, nothing personal, I just saw it as a free host and why not use your own host who offers Wordpress. I decided to give it a go despite my negative feelings and in under 24 hours I have had a complete change around. Twan hats off to you, Thumblogger is far more than a free host, the functions and tools and the possibilities are endless, I cannot wait to start my next Thumblogger blog. I should have known better to judge a service prior to trying it.

2) Imagevenue - Once you get your first sign-up go and spend it on the $19.95 version (advert free) if you intend on sharing images between several blogs.

3) I know the service has not yet been covered but have a play with RSS2Anywhere the tool given out by Thumblogger. Amazing is all I can say, following this project I have started http://sex-world.thumblogger.com/ and I have set three affiliate RSS feeds into RSS2Anywhere to update this blog and the two posts you will see (or 4 depending on when the RSS2 next update) are sponsor feeds.

Thanks Thomas, so far so good but if the project finished here I have already learnt a fantastic amount. One question I would put to you for your feedback...

On my http://sex-world.thumblogger.com/ I did intend to have several categories, Teens, Amateur, Lesbian, etc, etc... However, as the RSS2 only updates the 'General' category and as I am in love with the RSS2 as it will leave me free to develop the feeders and add my own content 'when' and 'if' rather than 'have to', what do you think to the idea of creating lets say for example a 'Lesbian Page' just like the movie page and a 'Teen Page' and so on. Each page rather than having updated blog entries have static content with links to sponsors and maybe even another blog dedicated to that theme?

Thanks
Ristac

It is like day and night is it not. I did not suggest it yet but I would have. And yes when you have high volume heavy traffic blogs which I intend for this to be where everyone is headed you do not want a image on your hosting hotlinked. With imagevenue you don't have to have that worry. Its a great service either paid or free. It just can not be beat. I truly believe in taking advantage of everything free you can. Now let me say as long as the service is stable. And imagevenue is stable and the paid service is excellent.

Categories are great and I will cover it more in depth later. I have it in my outline soon.

Thanks for the kind words there to. I have a outline for 12 weeks as outlined in the first post plus some other things I am working on for everyone. Was slow getting here tonite as I just spent 4 hours on plane getting back home here to Key West from business trip. And your page ideal is very good. Doing this you are creating niche content and learning well. This is what I am trying to teach. As much as possible keep Joe Porn Surfer on your site or circle of sites. The more you can do this the better off you will be in the long run and the more sign ups you will have.

Thumblogger and RSS anywhere are simply amazing. Twan is also. I thank him all the time and I appreciate him greatly. His services are the best thing that has happened to adult marketing in the last 20 years.

Thomas. I started working on a few blogs on Janurary 1 and stopped on jan 27 due to major family problems. In the 27 days i accumlated 4 sales off my one blog. I began designing a database system that basically You type in the niche, and the post text (html allowed), and when you hit enter it adds it to the server and database. Next you create a list of your blog sites and assign them to a niche. Every x days the system automatically adds a post to every blog. I thought this was a good idea to constant update blogs, while only adding post in one location. How do you feel about that idea?

Next, the blog i made money with is, http://thequeenofcute.thumblogger.com

I also started my own hosting and was continuing the area of pornstars. I had a main domain to show a new pornstar each day, and was creating subdomains for the sologirl, was this a good plan?
http://www.pornstarsrevealed.com
http://chloe.pornstarsrevealed.com
http://ashleylightspeed.pornstarsrevealed.com

I know you are super busy but if you have any time to look over any of them and tell me if/what i was doing good with and what i am not doing good with i'd really appreciate it.

Thanks in advance

Thomas, a question about the content pages you build on free hosts. Do you link all of those pages together or no? What is the maximum number of pages you put on each host? Just wondering if putting like 1000 pages in a directory would have a negative effect somehow?

Thomas you talk a lot about getting email sign ups, what type of placement would you give links for email sponsors on your blogs?

That to me is the best free one out there. You can create a account and then create multiple projects which is putting it on multiple blogs and it will give you extremly good stats. Check it out

Put them on your pages you build off your blog and you can also create a category and add all the links to that category under links. Check my example blog by tomorrow morning and I will show you how I do that.

I link to them from Blogs and I link one to another but not backwards. Only foward out going links to keep them going in a circle. And I use buzz words ( niche specific ) in my text links so if they are looking for a specific niche they can find it.

Something New I See Google Doing

Ok I have been watching this for a few weeks and I have caught Google doing something new they have not been doing. Say you have Blog B. Okay you update Blog B on a daily basis and Blog B stays where its at for its key word or key word phrase in the Google Index. But lets say you go two or three days and don't update Blog B. You will find that if it was on page 1 for its key word or key word phrase it is now on page 2. Go a few more days with no update and it will slip to page 3-5. So Google is watching a lot closer than you think or a software program is. Then you can start back updating Blog B every day and it will eventually get back to where it was. So after playing with it for a couple of weeks I would say Google has added something new and it appears from what I can see that it is Blog Specific. I have not seen anything posted about this anywhere else but I know it is now in play.
