If You Build It They Will Come.

One of my favorite sayings and yes a very true statement but think
about this. If you could take a great meal out in the woods and set it
up on a table with white linens and set down at that table how many
other people would be there to enjoy the meal with you. Most likely
none unless you had done one thing. Let others know. Let them know
and they will be there. Especially if you have something they like.
I see so many people with great looking web sites but no traffic. From
time to time they will post well how do I get the traffic and some people
will fill the thread well this guy or that guy sells traffic. As a new
webmaster forget it. You need no you must use the sites and resources
available to you for free to come up with your traffic. As a new webmaster
I would suggest you try the below.

1. Link Dumps.

A lot of people will say but I submit to them all the time and I don't
get anything from them. Well your doing it wrong. Don't try branding a site
with link dump submissions. You want to use link dumps to do one thing and
one thing only. You want to use them to get people to your blog or website.
You need to think carefully and come up with a winning title. A title that
is going to get clicks and get them on your site. There is a great resource
here at Netpond in the form of a free link dump submitter that Kill4 created.

the download link in that thread is working but if you read this and it is not
PM me here at the pond and tell me you need the link dump submitter and I will
provide you with a working download link. A lot of people miss the fact that
this program has several databases available in it. Look at the top left on the
front of the program and you will see where it says database. Click there and
you will see the various data bases.

Remember when submitting to link dumps your title is very important. Come up
with titles that would make you want to click.

2. Your site is very important. How does it look.

Lets take a look at some very successful Blogs.

Okay if you go to Google and enter Sex Blogs in the Search Bar those sites are
on the front page and there is a very good reason those Blogs are where they are.
Do you know why? Text! Yes if you said Text you won the prize. You could take either
of those three Blogs and make you a template from it and create a very successful
blog at Thumblogger. If you don't have a Thumblogger Account go to http://www.thumblogger.com/

Your text is very important and you need to use a spell check program when writing it.
Each blog you build should be targeted for 3-5 keywords and or keyword phrases.

Sometimes its busy and loads slow. Give it time or return to it later if the page does
not load for you. It is well worth the effort. There is no magic keyword density formula. There
are only some guidelines to consider, when deciding how heavily to place keywords on a web page.
Google has the strictest requirements, regarding keyword density. No more than 2% of a web page's
words should be the targeted keywords. Any more will be considered spamming by Google.

On the other hand, Yahoo and MSN Search have much higher keyword density tolerances,
perhaps as high as 5% of total words. That difference leaves quite a distance between the
optimum limits for Google and the levels permissible in Yahoo and MSN. A prudent webmaster will
recognize that a tradeoff will be necessary, while ensuring that the copy reads well for potential
customers and clients.In other words I am telling you to write so people can read what your
writing. I know you will see key word stuffing but resist the temptation.

The ideal compromise is to maximize the keyword levels for Google, without writing copy that doesn't
read well. Use the keywords only where they make sense when reading the copy. Poorly written copy might
draw some extra visitor traffic, but is unlikely to convert that traffic into sales.

And in case you did not understand that let me say it this way if you had 1000 words on a page
and you repeated the word amatuer 10 times in those 1000 words it would make amatuer have a
1% keyword density on that page. For your pages to be well liked by Google you need to stay
at 2% or less.

Okay I hope everyone got the little lesson on Key Words there. Its very important and I
truly believe Google is paying much more attention to this than they used to. Bottomline
keep keyword density on Google optimized pages at 2% or less. On pages you build for
Yahoo keep your keyword density at 5 % or less.

Don't build banner farms. Resist the temptation to think you can throw a bunch of banners up
on a page and the sales will roll in. You need photos on your blogs and you need text. Lots
of good sales text. Constantly be asking yourself what would make me want to click here. Do
you have a dirty mind. If not you better get busy doing research.

Use them to create your own topic buzz word sales text.

When you write your sales text use some little tricks to create extra clicks to your sponsor
which hopefully will result in some extra dollars in your pocket. You ask how can I do this.
Here's how. Lets say your using the word pussy in your text your writing. Make the word pussy
into a link say going to a sponsors movie gallery where a pussy is in plain easy to see
view. Also don't be afraid to get down and dirty with your sales text. You don't have to get
gross but remember you are selling a fantasy. Click Here guys and gals is not a fantasy.
If people see a word is a link they will click it to see where it goes. Curiosity killed
the pussy cat. Make them curious.

Links Under Banners

Yes I'm going to beat this dead horse to death. If you put a banner on a site put a link under
it and no not " Click Here " Say you have a banner on a site going to a teen site. Instead
of having the banner go to the tour send them to a sponsor movie gallery.

covered so far into your blog. Make sure you enable RSS on your blog. Make sure to fill out
your meta tags. Because yes I believe they do matter and more than most people think.
It doesnt matter what theme your blog has but if I was you I would keep it a general sex blog
like the examples I gave above. I want everyone to feel free to ask any questions in this
