And also keep in mind that for some webmasters, text links sell much better than banners. So instead of inserting the banner you like, try to write something on your own and link it to your sponsor.

Pam...I am glad I came across this post. It has a lot of good info that we don't often thing about all of the time. I am just starting to create a few new sites that I don't know anything about and this as reminded me that research is the think to do all of the time.

I do very well with text - especially if I can make it applicable to the image I'm showing. I've actually done very well in the BBW niche considering the limited time I've spent on it - and I'll thank that all to text. so true...it is like when your writing an article you should ask yourself if it will catch readers attention...start from the title and then at the first paragraph until you make it deeper that readers wouldn't want for it to finish...
