Haven't had any decent SE traffic in a week even though I got great posts on the cuntcabin nowadays.

In January, I had 1250 SE hits up from nothing in December.

I'm at 300 for February. It's gotta go beyond 1250 otherwise I'll be pissed at myself.

the traffic increase will not be linear... sometimes it will stagnate for 1-2 months, and within a few days, your traffic will double, than stagnate for a while...etc... keep the faith and continue to blog! :-) (also even while the traffic stagnate, nothing prevents you from improving your sales text so from a given amount of traffic you manage to drive more of it to your sponsors)

Absolutely true. The problem is that you can't really experimentally find out which works best unless you've got plenty of traffic.

You can't yet read any patterns when you're doing about 1 sale per month.

If I wanted to improve my sales texts, where would I look for good examples?

This whole fucking thread is about long term business and your talking about short term results... Just like the stock market its all about increasing traffic and sales overall in the long run and not within a few days...

Rvince is trying to say that you should focus on the building part FIRST before worrying about short-term results.

Like Thomas Byers always says: Build them and they will come. (traffic & sales of course)

There was a sales text context held by Meat of Haui about a year ago on NP... Use the search engine here on the board and you can find plenty of examples. Although I think it's bullshit to just copy other peoples because you have to be CREATIVE yourself.

A simple row of pics from one paysite in your sidebar with:
"FIVE REASONS WHY YOU SHOULD JOIN [PAYSITE NAME]"

can do the job easily....

You can implement that into your blogposts as well...

Also.... Do you ever look at the paysites tour??? Here's my advice: DO IT.. Even better, JOIN THE FUCKING PAYSITE!

A paysites tour (and the members area as well) will give you a good impression of:

1) The language they use!
2) The amount of content they already have!
3) The amount of time they update the site!
4) The amount of bonusses you will get...

All of these things are EXTREMELY important when it comes to the part hat YOU drive YOUR traffic to the paysite.

Oh God! This thread won't end!

I have to go back and re-read it all! Every other day someone says how they make thousands of $$$ a month with their ONE blog. I'm zeroing in on how. One thing that surprised me with a couple people's blogs that do make that kind of money is that they didn't know jack squat about SEO. They just made their blog and it got accessed by people and got that viral marketing thing going. Yes they're very micro niched and non-porn though dealing with medical and technology but I see their formula. Gotta be knowledgeable in that tech area I guess is the key.

I get them from Theme viewer and then i alter them with other colors headers and such.
