Congratulations for your results!

If you work on your sales text (REALLY pre-selling the sites), you can indeed achieve amazing ratios with blogs... There are several paysites where I maintain a ratio better than 1:100 too, but on most I do more like 1:200 to 1:500.

What sales technique works better for you - when you say something click here to see those blah blah blah (some nasty sales text) or when you say go there and join that site just for 4.95$ and see all those blah blah blah and full length videos etc.

I mean do you mention price or speak about how good of a bargain they get (eg 1000 videos just for X$) or you talk only about what sexy/dirty stuff they are going to see if thy click a link?

I usually mention the price if there's something to say about it, like a $1 trial allowing to download a full HQ video, a pass giving access to plenty of sites or something like this.
On the other hand I don't mention prices for the "vanilla" 25-35USD/mo sites.

it's very great thread, i am going to try it all, but i have few questions: do you get many clicks to sponsors when the only links to sponsor site are text links, not on the image like i used to do before. Of course, your ratios are great, but maybe you get less clicks to sponsor in percent of total blog visitors?
I thought i could for example do 6 thumbs on post: 4 pics link to bigger image and the rest two ones link to sponsor site or something like that. In another standpoint, it would be look like not friendly for surfers site, but it would increase clicks to sponsor site and maybe even sales. Because some of visitors maybe can buy membership, but they don't read text or any lines of text saying "here you can find more pictures of her" and they don't get to know about it.

Just an idea, waiting for your opinion, thanks

Yes, less clicks indeed, but the conversion ratios are better and it evens things out.
People who click my text links are convinced enough to visit the paysite and eventually sign up. If they aren't convinced I'd rather have them read the next post on my blog rather than forcing them on a paysite they don't want to visit.

I've made a few tests with blindlinks which convinced me to never use them anymore. It's just a silly way to waste my traffic (or not to squeeze all the money I can get from it which is pretty much the same)

I don't think the domain name will matter much for google, but make sure your site design makes it clear it's a zero to get people to remember the right URL for your site.

well, you should build your site and traffic with the paysites you're going to promote in mind... No use making a blog dedicated to Shemales in Uniforms as there are no paysites to promote in this niche for example. If your niche is so small that there are no paysites in it, it most likely means there's not enough potential customers to make it worth it.

There's no "good blog traffic" limit imho...
I'm making very decent sales from some blogs with not so much traffic (~500 visitors/day) and my biggest blog reached the 10000 visitors/day yesterday... :-) In my experience it's very easy to reach 200 visitors/day, a bit harder to reach the 1000/day but it's very doable; going over 2000/day and continuing to grow is not so easy, but rather than bring 1 blog to 5000 visitors/day, you may want to get 10 blogs to 500/day. Same visitor count, better targetting, and probably better sales too...

Do you link the most intriguing words in your texts, Vince? I do link 1-2 words/word combinations per post and results aren't that bad at all, especially with $1 trial sites in same niche.

Also sometimes I explain how great is the episode and by the end I give them a join link to watch it all whole. Just started doing this and gonna see how it goes in the long run.

I'm not doing that as I think it will look to "spamy" to the reader. I don't have strict rules about linking to sponsors, but I try to to put more than 1 link per 5 lines of text. Too many links to the sponsors isn't the best method to get the surfers' confidence...

Then buy content for your niche and build a avs site to upsell to from your blog. If you can't find the content, then place a custom shoot order. Chances are that you'll make your money back in no-time if the niche is that hard to find.

Just try it...
Or rather: why would you NOT get backlinks to your blog? getting backlinks isn't harder than writting... Once your blog has at least 10 posts:
- ask on adult boards for trades,
- type in google the queries you're like your blog to rank well for, and for each result, if the site is one that may accept trades, find the webmaster's email and ask him.

That simple.

I've been at it (post writing) for 2 months now.

Traffic on Cunt Cabin is definitely rising albeit slowly.

Since many people are finding my website for the keyword 'cunt', I figured it's a good idea to put content on there that actually focusses on cunts. I hope this will make the site finally convert.

Even though I've put the most effort in the cuntcabin, it hasn't converted anything to the best of my knowledge.

I have, on the other hand, two thumbloggers which have both made me $100, totalling $200.

Those two thumbloggers are niches and contain handwritten posts. They're never updated, but still receive steady SE traffic.

It seems to me a good idea to go niche, so I've set up 3 other blogs on their own domain. The niches I've chosen are teen spanking, femdom strapon and mature milf.

I'm still not giving up and will let you guys again know how I'm doing later on.
