elpollo, you've already taken the right conclusion. my 2 cents are that the keyword "cunt" will never convert great, because it is extremely broad. i had some very good "wet pussy" rankings and it was similar, very low conversions for membership sites. only dating worked well there.

good luck with your new niched blogs!

Thanks Bob. I'll fix the metatags soon!

About the keyword density..... that's a funny thing actually.

See, I was afraid of over-using the word so I've toned down on it in the past. Maybe I should be using it a tiny bit more than I'm doing right now.

I see there's a lot of keyword checkers on the web. What tool did you personally use to check my keyword density?

I think you're fine as long as you don't go much over 3% for your specific keyword. I have been told that the SE's consider it spammy if it begins to go over 3%.

I use the SEOQuake toolbar for Firefox. It has a cool density checker built in.

Exactly what I'm thinking...
'cunt' isn't a niche... it's just a keyword...
but if you are getting traffic from this keyword, I'd rather feature some cameltoes... and try to make more posts to rake more keywords combinations ("teen cunts", ....)

I do pretty damn good on "cunt" as a keyword - more specifically "tint cunt" and it converts well on my BMYS site - kinda popped up unexpected as I must be using "tiny cunt" in my posts. Come to think of it, I kinda like tiny cunts.....

Over 4 months ago, I set up the following blog:

Big Fucking Boobs! - thumblogger.com

It's a niche. It's got handwritten posts scheduled to be posted over the span of a year. It's got 10 PR3 links set up to it.

The blog gets negligable SE-traffic and hasn't gotten any PR yet.

This bugs me, because it might happen to the niche-blogs that I am now running on their own domains.

Does anybody have any idea what might have gone wrong with that thumblogger blog of mine?

You're not hitting your keyword targets.

breasts K, D 5 (number of times mentioned in homepage) 0.32 (keyword density) This density needs to be around 3.00
boobs T, K, D 4 (number of times mentioned in homepage) 0.25 (keyword density) This density needs to be around 3.00
tits K, D 2 (number of times mentioned in homepage) 0.13 (keyword density) This density needs to be around 3.00

I'm not an SEO expert, but I have been told in order to get the spiders to associate your site with a specific keyword, then it needs to be keyword rich.

I hope that makes some sense.

imho the exact keyword density is not that important nowadays. yes, of course the keyword should figure prominently in title, h1 and several times in the text. people say google doesn't like more than 2% - i have a site in the top5 in google for a very competitive 1-word-keyword that has more than 7% density... other factors are much more important.

first of all you have optimized this blog for the term "big fucking boobs" which hardly gets any searches. the other terms bobsbetterboob has mentioned are very general and very competitive. if you do some keyword research you will find more suitable 2- or 3-word boobs terms that get good traffic and are not that competitive.

secondly my guess is you have hardly built any backlinks. content updates are not enough, you do need backlinks to gain SE rankings and traffic.

sorry i overlooked the part with the pr3 links. yahoo does show some backlinks, but many of them cannot be found anymore https://siteexplorer.search.yahoo.co...F&bwm=i&bwms=p

the key with backlinks is to add more and more slowly and gradually, so it looks to the search engines like a natural link growth

What do you call "negligable SE-traffic"? 10 visits/day? 100? 500?

In any way, your site isn't following many of the advises I've given in my tutorial and in this thread, just to name a few:
- it's using a free hosting service.
- you seem to promote a single paysite/sponsor only.
- you link to FHGs in every post.
- your sales text doesn't talk to the surfer; it looks like it's directly copied/pasted from the site tours! be a bit more original!

More like 60 a month.

That's because I set it up before I started reading your thread.

I set this one up after being inspired by a thread from Twan, Thumblogger owner. He said if you'd set up enough thumbloggers like so, simply describing the action, you'd get SE and conversions from it.

I'd rather do it your way though. My latest blogs should be okay.

If I show them to you in private, will you give me feedback on them?
