I'm starting a creampie blog, but is that to broad for a niche? I was going to add anal, pussy, black, ect categories, but should I just create separate blogs for each category?

Maybe a different blog for sub-niche creampies and 1 general blog?

3) he wants to have full control of the surfer....

4) this is the most important thing... In many of his posts Vince is using DIFFERENT PICS FROM DIFFERENT SETS!!!! This is something I havent done much but when I did it, it sold really good!

And the links in his post HAVE affiliate links in them but they are just masked by a php redirect or something.

Again, thinking of FHG's will make you a very very limited webmaster.
points 1) to 3) : I couldn't have said it better :-)

4) isn't so important... I probably have pics from only 1 set in most of my posts.

5) many time you'll find out the sponsors aren't using the same quality of hosting for the FHGs than they do for the premium site. Or they rename some files and your links are 404s, etc...

When a post is linking to a FHG it's screaming "THIS POST IS JUST MARKETING CRAP TO GET YOU TO BUY! SO BUY! BUY! BUY!". On the other hand if you sweet talk the surfer, give him full size pics and giving him a link directly to the tour so he can go download more samples/see the rest of the scene/etc... then your posts are much more efficient. If you do want to link to FHGs, then it's fine, but either make a TGP, or a different kind of blog...

you can make as many blogs as you want, but for each of them, make you it's not in a too small niche: you should be able to have at least ~5 sites to promote: more choice for your surfers, and if one site goes belly up or starts converting like shit, it's not _so_ bad...

rvince,

i'm curious why you wouldn't have the larger pictures on a seperate html page and have a link above or below the picture that leads to the tour. or even having the larger picture link to the tour for that matter. do you agree it's a good idea to have the surfer keep moving forward rather then hitting the back button to get back on the blog?

I'm glad I'm learning this shit BEFORE I'm setting up a new blog.

Rvince, how exactly are you masking your affiliate codes in the text links?

Why do you mask the textlinks but not the sidebar?

you can do it... but you're thinking like a fake-TGP webmaster trying to generate a few more clicks in every possible way.

Find a good scene/pictorial to talk about, tease the surfer to death, post a few samples and a link to the paysite. If you did your job well, they'll click it. If not maybe they'll read more posts on your blogs and find a better (for them) post; which is better rather than forcing them to see a sponsor they don't really want to see...

ElPolloDiablo I'm making a free program to mask affiliate URLs and some other things, should be out in a few days

by the way your signature is broken due to new changes on the site, you need to use BBCode instead of HTML in sigs from now on

I don't _hide_ them; I'm just using a central redirect for each site; so I can quickly change all my links to a given sponsor (switching between revshare/PPS, sponsor switching to another billing system, etc...
I should be using it on my sidebar too actually.

When I open the source of rvince's site I don't see refcodes in any of the post-body textlinks.

How can you have a refcode in a URL and not show it anywhere?

The refcodes are completely undetectable.

I didn't know this was even possible.

Sounds real handy.

How does this central redirect thing work?

Any tools available for that already, besides the one that was just offered by another poster?

1/ Create a file named 'paysite1.asis' that contains:

PHP Code:
Status301 OK
Pragma
no-cache
Content
-typetext/html
Location
http://www.paysite1.com/?myaffid
2/ link to it.

this solution doesn't use php, so it's nicer on the server load and very slightly quicker. If instead of redirecting it displays the file, make sure your Apache configuration contains the line 'AddHandler send-as-is asis' somewhere.

They are totally detectable, you just don't know how to... but they can... don't try to use it as a method to dissimulate refcodes because skilled surfers WILL know how to find out the actual link :-)

Yeah but why would they look for it if they don't have a reason to do so.

Hell... I'm a computer science guy and didn't even know you could keep a refcode in a url but have it displayed as simply "http://www.retro-queens.com" in the browser where it opens up.

I'm gonna look into this.

http://www.retro-queens.com = a CCBILL sponsored website and the affiliate code will look like this:

http://refer.ccbill.com/cgi-bin/clicks.cgi?CA=[CLIENT CODE]-0000&PA=[AFFILIATE CODE]

By hiding a link like this the surfer will not see he is redirected to http://www.retro-queens.com

Nothing special though...

Check out the latest post on www.fullyclothedfetish.com.

There are textlinks to the retro queens site.

The actual refcodes are nowhere to be seen.

Ah it's starting to dawn on me now.

Then CCBill must forward to the retro queens site without showing any codes.
