I won't argue, but in april 2007 (as you can see by my registration date) I knew absolutely nothing about adult biz. Some 7-8 months later adult is my only job and I earn more than I could do if I had an average job.

Either way good luck with your every day posts with 200+ words in each. You won't last for long this way.

Ug, such bullshit. I write on daily an average of twenty-five 200 word posts, and in my circle of friends, I am the slowest, lowest volume writer.

Nobody discouraged your efforts in April of last year; I suggest you return the courtesy.

No need to get personal. Just gathering information.

Some people are great at writing quickly some long and good posts, some are not... 200 words isn't so much, it's only ~15 lines.
As I said, there are many people doing well, with shorter posts. I don't have a problem with that. But my experience let me to think that it's really worth it to write longer posts even if one writes less of them.

I use plenty of them! http://www.rvince.com/2007ratios/

As said above, on each site you should promote enough sites (at the very least 5, 10 is more, 50 doesnt' hurt if there are enough quality paysites in the niche).
One of the difference between blogs and TGP galleries is that if your readers don't like an article, instead of clicking on 'back', they have plenty of other posts to read; so if you have a diverse-enough offering you increase your chances to show something they'll like to your readers and to make a sale.

you can be successful with 200+ word posts or with smaller ones, that's not the main factor. the key is how you write and how well you seo your blog(s).

I've seen many newbies get burned out quickly and quit. They pretty much always use "conquer the world" approach. In my opinion instead of researching too much you should already build at least 10 blogs.

In very beginning those 200+ word posts are all but useless and won't help you with rankings. You should start small and build up on it. It's a long road, albeit very interesting one.

In my first 2 weeks I had around 7-8 blogs already created and submitted. Do you? If not, stop researching and get to work already!

I speak from my own experience as I was in same position few months ago. I taught at least seven people, only 1 of them is semi-successful now after 3 months. Everyone else burned out exactly for the same reason. They wanted it all NOW.

I see many people write for cash, this usually means they can't convert their writings into $$. I used to write as well but found it far more profitable to write for my own sites. Size of the posts doesn't matter all that much (as long as they aren't 1-sentence posts).

Some 30-50 word posts that are actually interesting to read may convert way better than very text rich 200+ "Look at Joe fuck Susan" posts, that cause boredom and can be found on many blogs.

Again, you speak from your OWN experience. I don't see one quantifiable fact in here, just "I think" or "may be". And I wouldn't exactly brag about how you taught "7 people all but one are gone".

Also, in re: the paid post bullshit in your second paragraph. If that was a dig at me, come out and say something or have a steaming cup of stfu.

no, I also use video clips every once in a while... not often, but I sometimes do when I find one worth using...

Does anybody (and rvince) have an opinion on these questions?
  1. Link to hosted galleries or your galleries on your domain?
  2. Link to jpg or pictures on hosted html pages?
  3. How many (estimated) blogs do you need to achieve $1,000 per month? (Kep in mind estimated blogs x amount of posts per blog per week = posts per week)

answer to item 1 is in my tutorial (short answer: No, a FHG is a FHG no matter where it actually is hosted), the 2 other questions have been discussed later in the thread... :-)
