Weekend Mainstream Post

Ok if your following this thread what I would suggest you make your first mainstream Blog or even a few of your first mainstream Blogs about something you know or something you are interested in.

If you like fishing build you the best fishing Blog you ever saw. What ever you are the most interested in build a Blog about it. The only thing you have to keep in mind is you are building this Blog for mainstream. So no adult.

There are thousands of places on the web where you can get free articles to use on your Blogs and these articles will control some what the type of ads adsense shows on your Blog.

Most of the rules on how you can use the articles vary from site to site. Just be sure you read them. And follow their rules.

You will need to create a chain of mainstream Blogs and link them together to keep your traffic as much as possible on your site or sites. Each of my mainstream Blogs for the most part link to each other and it keeps the traffic moving from one Blog to the next one.

And you need Blogs like the Download Free Games Blog of mine at the start of this thread to build you huge traffic sites where you can take that traffic thru links and move it off to your other Blogs thru your text links.

What ever the top one or two posts on your Blog or Blogs is will control and direct your traffic. So if you have a site you are trying to feed traffic to have a post there about it and you will see your traffic move in that direction.

Iwill tell you this. It is a large part of my income and has been for several years now. I have a Apartment in London UK that I own free and clear , and two homes in the USA I own free and clear and I pay every bill I owe from Adult and mainstream. So that should give you some ideal.

Awesome threads thomas. I've pretty much read the "How to make money with blogs" thread too, but as you've stated before it is kinda outdated and some blog examples are no longer active ( those on blogspot ). I'm starting to build some blogs myself following your advices. Let's see how it'll play

Okay I keep looking at sites and you know what I am missing is action words and links under banners.

When you put a banner on a site put a text link under it and don't just put Click Here.

Or go right ahead and let everyone else get the sales.

You need to use at least a certain amount of shock value in your text links. People have become almost blind to banners. You will increase your click thru ratio greatly if you put a text link under a banner. And which of these do you think will get the most clicks.

You have to use action words to get people to take a action on your pages. If you don't your sadly missing out. When you write paragraphs of text make certain words in your text into clickable links. Give people a reason to take a action on your page.

Don't just throw up a bunch of pics with a line or two under each. Take some time and use and repeat use action words on your Blogs. Convince them ( The Porn Surfer ) that they need to click that link or take some action in order to get something. If you do you will come out much better. Give it a try and post your results here in this thread.

Monday Morning Mainstream Post

This morning I am going to stress the fact that if you are planning on working mainstream one of the first things you should do is build a simple Blog at Blogger and get it approved for adsense.

Once you get one site approved you don't have to go back and get another site approved. You just have to be sure to stay with in the guide lines of Google adsense when you add adsense to new sites.
