I looked at some of these sites today and I see a lot of people just submitting a sponsor's FHG with their ref code but most everyone here has been submitting your actual blog posts right?

In my case I've been submitting only blog posts. I've also seen some sites publishing FHG's but my guess was that those were pushed by the site owner.

Posting FHGs is a waste of time, as traffic is very poor and doesn't buy much if at all. These sites are good for backlinks however, is why you should link to your blogs.

Please remove the php redirect and make sure it shows direct links, otherwise there is no point submitting to your site.
With direct links you should be golden

http://links.spankwire.com/ has an additional step in submitting, where it throws up a bunch of links that are "like" yours... I noticed that using some words in the title makes this list extremely large, while other words give just a short "like" sites.

From time to time happened to have so many results that my computer was simply not responding for a few minutes.

some of the "bad words" are:

sexy
pornstar
blonde

anybody knows some others to be avoided?

I just finished going through this whole thread from beginning and trying to submit to all sites found. Most of them seem to be dead, haven't been updated for months if not years even ( some of them ).

Links are hardlinks and no recip required, although appreciated.

I approve new links twice a day, 12 at a time to try and give people as much opportunity on the front page as possible.

My problem is I'm getting too many submits to list everyone quickly, so there is sometimes a couple of days backlog. There are zero links out to sponsors and I submit my own sites rarely. So, all traffic is going to submitters.

Traffic is increasing but not as fast as I thought it might so hang in there and remember this is more about backlinks not traffic.

Google is visiting every day and there are now 5,000+ pages listed there. It's a new site (2 months old) so no PR yet, but next PR update is not far off.

Feel free to submit to http://www.pornslapper.com but no FHG's please, and please keep submits to a few a day, not ten at once.
