http://www.porndiggity.com/ and others using that script...sorry, but I cannot read the confirmation code very well. Is there an option for you to change the code? Sometimes after three tries, I just give up.

Thank you Venthril for the heads up.
Due to time restraints I usually do not return to a site to check on them once I drop them from submissions.
Cashme: Anyone providing you with a straight up link out is doing you good whether today or 3 mos from now.
Use paste it in to store your info and your bookmark toolbar showing in FF and it will take you five minutes top to submit to these guys.

Trix I hate those codes sometimes they drive me nuts.
I do have a question for you though on xxxsocial.com.
I kinda let them drop because of the front page sponsor hosted gallery links 84 days old in the top spots on the front page do they send any traffic? It just looked to me like an FHG trap. Also I remember now, they require a hardlink. I decided to just go the directory route it is much more reliable

First impressions to me determine a lot but the fact they had those awful FHG links up there forever AND wanted a hardlink still causes me to avoid them.
Unless I am missing something really big here individual posts get dropped by them after a certain time but you still got that freaking hardlink up to them so....ummm are they are really bad directory or a very greedy social bookmark site?
The only things that seem permanent with these people seem to be the links to the FHGS.
Anyway that is just my take on it.

What the hell could these people offer me to actually hardlink to such a festival of sponsor code spam?
Please scroll down to the bottom of the pages. Check that spam fest out. Tell me this is a legit site?

Yeah can probably remove them as well. They still give backlink for SE so I'm unsure. I use submitter anyway so can survive extra 15 seconds spent, especially since we are now left only with 10 sites.

Has anyone found more?

There are lots more out there but I have big reservations about linking to spam sites. I hear linking to "bad" sites can hurt you in the SEs. I would leave them only if they did not have a hardlink requirement and then they would go on the bottom with my list of "sleazy".
I believe we need a formalized list of social bookmarking sites. I am willing to put one up if people found it useful.
I personally would not even bother to mention those that were sleazy on any list and hence avoid argument just provide the ones who are up and up.
I have a bit longer list Venril. I have not posted all my reasons for not linking to some of these sites because if you call someone out then usually you get a really big fight.
Which to my understanding is not the purpose of this thread.
There ARE good bookmarking sites out there sadly there are a lot more than are questionable.
I hate to see the trend of porn social bookmarking sites die out because more than a few are taking the low road.
I hate to see honest webmasters linking to crap in the hopes of good SE ratings and find themselves hurt because it turns out to be a spam site.
When I initially stated my complaints I did so to point out to people you need to look all over a site not just look at "can I submit" and "do they list me".
I stand by that still.

Obviously with a little research we are now left with nine sites worth publishing to. Only three of them would send you noticeable traffic and are worth having their backlink on your resource.

Hey I got the urls fixed so PLEASE add http://www.socialsmut.com back to your list. Im not getting a ton of traffic but it does get over a 1000 hits a day and the pages get indexed super fast.

Thanks to Chimera and Venril Sathir for taking the time to hunt out the good ones and expose the bad ones. If your running one of these sites and screwing over your traffic with redirects and other bullshit you deserve to be exposed. That is what this board and other webmaster boards are about. You will do much better with surfers and webmasters if you run clean sites. If you cheat and screw over people it will bite you. Maybe not today but it will come. Over one pop up or any active x is just stupid in todays market place. As is stealing traffic which a lot of these sites were doing. If the Surfer clicks a link for Teens Hot Pink Pussy they expect to see Teens Hot Pink Pussy not be jerked thru a series of bullshit sites where you are hoping against hope that you can push something else off on them. And when you do this to links submitted by your fellow webmasters it is stealing plain and simple. There is no other word for it. I hope this makes it plain enough. Treat people how you want to be treated. If your guilty your guilty. If you are fix the bullshit and people might submit to you again.

Just to be clear a lot of the sites arent redirecting to other pages its just that the submitted links are not have seo friendly since have a php out kind of like toplists. I thought i had changed mine to use the exact url but saw that it didnt. Also it should be brought up that the pligg script uses this type of link setup automatically so everyone running a site needs to change it.

Yah, King Soil I believe Thomas was referring to a couple of the sites mentioned in this thread that actually and with forethought redirect surfers clicking on your links.

BTW I really like that snapshot feature on your site and I bet the surfers do too! freeXXXsitez uses it and you the webmaster and the surfer too, can become spoiled very quickly by that feature

Chimera i appreciate all the submission you have given me. It really sucks that some people would try and cheat people. Social Bookmarking sites have a ton of potential and hopefully all the bad ones will be weeded out.

I played with the pligg script, toyed with opening a social networking site. I dislike bagging on any open source script, but...well, lets just say that one had more holes in it then swiss cheese.
